Bytagig responded almost immediately to an online inquiry I made when the internet went down at our organization over a weekend. Bytagig responded fast, put in the hours needed, and has provided reliable insight and support.

Bytagig came to our rescue when our internet went down over a weekend. We couldn't stream our services. John personally came and worked for several hours to remedy the issue. Bytagig came to the rescue when our internal IT support was no longer available. They have worked for months to get our hardware and software systems cleaned up from a previous poor install. The team responds almost immediately to support needs. We love working with them and will continue to do so.

We've worked with several individuals from Bytagig, and they have all been incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. John - Owner Craig, Seth, and more!

I’m the office manager of Greenhaven Landscapes. We provide landscape installation and design services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bytagig?

We needed someone to help us with cloud consulting and provide various IT services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bytagig is our outsourced IT department. We use them on a regular basis to fulfill our IT needs. Whenever we have any IT-related problem, we can contact them to fix it. We use both macOS and Microsoft Windows products, and they help us with both.

Bytagig purchases and installs hardware and software when needed, and they also manage our cloud infrastructure. Additionally, they provide cybersecurity services by setting up firewalls and so on. The team also maintains the junk mail filter on our email.

In addition, Bytagig helps us with onboarding new employees. The team creates an email for them and gets that teammate set up on our computer systems. Most of their work is done remotely, but they check in with us in person sometimes to check in with us.

What is the team composition?

We work with Craig (Technician) and John (CEO & IT Consultant).

How did you come to work with Bytagig?

The former office manager was friends with John and had worked with him before.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $7,500 so far.

The project started in May 2020, and it’s ongoing.

The project has gone smoothly. Bytagig is always on top of any issues, and we’ve received good customer service from them.

How did Bytagig perform from a project management standpoint?

The Bytagig team is amicable and quick to reply. Although we’re not their only customers, we’ve never felt like we weren’t their priority — the team is always available and responsive.

We typically contact them via email if we need support, and it goes through a ticketing system. They usually get back to us within the same day to let us know the status of our request. If needed, we can also reach out to them via phone call.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very friendly and knowledgeable. Craig is super helpful and always provides exemplary customer service. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the team — they’re reliable, honest, and fair.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wish they could fix some things in person rather than remotely. However, they’ve definitely satisfied our needs remotely, so it’s not much of an issue but a personal preference.
