I’m the co-owner and sales marketing manager for Across Arizona Tours. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with BX3 Interactive?

We had a website, but it wasn't good. We needed a new website to be built.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built our website from scratch. This included development, design, and content creation. They had a unique template and proprietary technology with specific crawlers to help find the people who would be looking for our product.

In 2017, they did a major upgrade to the website using an interactive Google tool, and they currently host our server.

What is the team composition?

In the beginning, there were about five people involved including the software writer, sales representative, production manager, and two of their tech leads. Once the project got started, our primary points of contact were Brian (Partner/Full Stack Developer) and Mike (Partner).

How did you come to work with BX3 Interactive?

They were recommended to us by a colleague that worked with them and was satisfied with the results.

How much have you invested with them?

In total, we’ve invested about $22,500. The original website was $15,000, and the upgrade was about $7,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from September – December 2010 to build the website and test it. In 2017, we worked with them to do a major upgrade to the website. They continue to host our server.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website we were using prior to working with them brought in about $1,100 over the course of six months. The new website brought in as much as $2,000 in a single day. In a six-month period, it brought in $90,000 - $100,000. It was a great success.

How did BX3 Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

They did the heavy lifting and explained the process to us. I’d estimate that they did 90% of the work. We suggested photos, which they used unless there was a problem with the format. They guided us, sometimes protecting us from ourselves, on what was best for business, and what appealed to customers.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They really know what they’re doing. They keep up with changing codes and algorithms to keep our website current.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. While they’re not the most affordable option, I think they’re worth the investment. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s an investment. Whatever you put into it, you’ll get back and then some.
