Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a dental support organization that owns and operates 14 dental clinics. We’re located in Canada, and our organization is expanding rapidly.
I’m the director of business development that handles everything that’s outward-facing. I look into potential vendors that we could acquire their practices, people who are looking to invest in our organization, and people looking to join our organization.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Buzzy Branding?
We hired them to develop a website because we didn’t have one. We had no corporate branding and defined market position.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Buzzy Branding built an entirely new WordPress website for us. Before, we had a placeholder for the site. The team created contact spots, a portal for customers to follow up with certain materials related to COVID-19, and different integrations with MailChimp programs. We’re also looking into integrating HubSpot as well.
We’ve recently started the branding work. We’re looking at our corporate identity and refining our philosophy to ensure its marketable. We’re looking to define our blog content and receive help with social media. They’ll possibly take on our individual practice websites.
What is the team composition?
I’ve primarily dealt with two people.
How did you come to work with Buzzy Branding?
I was provided their name and set up an initial call. It was a word of mouth reference. We developed a great rapport, and I liked their dynamic and pace.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve invested $3,000–$4,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in April 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’ve noticed that our engagement has gone up. I haven’t monitored the website traffic quite yet.
How did Buzzy Branding perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, they’re amazing. The deadlines were incredibly tight. We also made changes to the scope and vision. I know that they put in a tremendous amount of work and effort by demonstrating their capabilities. We want to streamline and set everything with them because of how their team delivers.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Buzzy Branding works with us dynamically to achieve something fantastic. First, we’ve had excellent, ongoing communication. In terms of the frequency of meetings, seeking clarifying questions, and the level of understanding, they’re fantastic at understanding our needs.
Secondly, their depth of experience when it comes to our market sector and positioning challenges is great. They work with us to think of the bigger context.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t really have anything for that. The cadence of communication and deliverables exceed expectations. I want to do more with them. They’ve been extremely accommodating.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Provide them with as much information as possible about your market and objectives. Organize all of your social media platforms. If that’s cohesive, they can provide you with a full scope of what can be done right away.
