SOMA BATH INC. hired The Buzzster to create and build a custom website.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I was looking for someone who understood the company, the image the company is wanting to portray, the demographic it will be hitting and what the company stands for.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
After a series of meetings, The Buzzster really listened to what the goal was and began creating ideas that were discussed and agreed upon. Set up and navigating through with ease and making small changes along the way to improve how the website would function.

I got to work one on one with The Buzzster and got personal and exceptional customer service.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I received feedback on the set up and design, as it was perfectly arranged to make it easy for visitors to navigate through and understand the service being offered through the website.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The Buzzster was very accommodating, approachable, easy to communicate with and always on top of keeping the lines of communication open. Never skipped a beat!
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We were very impressed at how easy The Buzzster took our vision and made it a reality. The dedication to this project, in a timely manner and with all the communicating back and forth, it was truly an amazing experience to deal with someone so detail oriented and, professional and eager to please.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and director of a counseling and psychology clinic.
What challenge were you trying to address with The Buzzster?
I needed someone to help me out with web design.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I wanted something that would be easy for our customers to navigate, book sessions, and contact us. When The Buzzster first came on board, they’d already done some research, and I provided them with websites that were similar to what we wanted. We went back and forth a lot before landing on the final design.
Currently, The Buzzster is providing ongoing support.
What is the team composition?
I work with one person from their team.
How did you come to work with The Buzzster?
I signed up on Wix to design my own website, and they sold me on hiring a professional. They asked if I wanted to stay within my area, which I did, and The Buzzster ended up being one of the first companies to call me. They were the only ones who had already done research and put in the work before reaching out to me, which I thought was great.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost was $450.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since December 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Although my website is published, I’m not advertising it yet, so I don’t have any success metrics to share. However, I’m really happy with the design. They were really great with keeping to the colors and the theme of my logos throughout each page. Creatively and technically, The Buzzster nailed it. Everything I requested, they found a way to make it happen.
How did The Buzzster perform from a project management standpoint?
We had about three phone calls, as well as a large email thread to stay in touch and track progress and changes. On average, within two hours of me sending an email, they would get back to me.
They were really great at understanding what I wanted and actually following through. If there were any issues, The Buzzster was always there to fix them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They never rushed me. Some vendors are more concerned with a faster turnaround time, but because of The Buzzster’s support, I’ve never felt like I’m being pushed out the door. It really makes them stand out from anyone else.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I would say keeping an eye out for detail. We had a working document through Google Docs, and I noticed there were some small errors.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Create a mood board of a theme you’re going for ahead of time, so The Buzzster knows what you want right away.

I’m the CEO of a company that provides a gap for HR in the areas of wellness. We hire out part-time chief wellness officers to existing organizational cultures.
What challenge were you trying to address with The Buzzster?
We’ve created a natural healthcare benefit that can be used anywhere in the world. We needed whomever we hired to know a little bit about healthcare and benefits.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The Buzzster developed our membership website on Wix. They made the site pliable enough to work with other websites and service providers. They also ensured the site could create coupon codes, provide special access, and handle social media campaigns. We’re actually giving a social media campaign to The Buzzster to run. They have also done some SEO.
They will be creating content and then posting it on our social media channels. I will give Ajinkya (Owner) a bit of an overview of how I’d like to see things, and then he’ll take it over from there.

I’m not sure how many people have been working on this project.

I had somebody take a look at reviews for Wix partners. Somebody actually suggested we check out The Buzzster, so I did. Communication was the biggest factor — I needed to know that the company we hired was going to be able to communicate what I needed, and Ajinkya is really good.

We’ve spent more than 10,000 CAD (approximately $7,900 USD).

We just launched January 1, 2021. The project is ongoing. We anticipate our benefit to implant itself in the Canadian economy and hopefully the US’s.

They’re very punctual, and the communication is what you’d want it to be.

I am a blogger.
What challenge were you trying to address with The Buzzster?
I work alone and I found it difficult to manage everything on my own. I felt the need to have a third-party involved in the work that I do, including for my website and SEO efforts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I knew the website I had wasn’t working well and there were a few glitches. I also didn’t like the way it looked so The Buzzster came on board to fix it.
After, they worked on my SEO. I was writing blogs but wasn’t getting any organic traffic or results. The team also manages my social media, providing analytics so I can understand the insights and appropriate strategies.
On top of those services, the team provides regular advice and consulting in terms of digital marketing.
What is the team composition?
I work with Ajinkya (CEO), my primary contact. I know he has a few team members working with him, but I’m not in contact with them.
How did you come to work with The Buzzster?
I knew of Ajinkya through some mutual friends, and they recommended him to me. I wanted to work with someone who has experience in the field, and I wanted to see some work before I thought of getting into it.
How much have you invested in them?
Initially, I spent $600 or $700 a month because it was all done from scratch, but now it is on a project basis and I spend around $500 a month.
What is the status of this engagement?
I began working with them in January 2020, and it is an ongoing partnership. I have been posting blogs very regularly.
I need a little less help than I needed in the beginning. It was like a kickstart for me because I didn’t know anything at that time, but I am still working with them, and finding a lot of good results from working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The Buzzster has really helped me when it comes to my Instagram. I have 46,000 followers on Instagram but because of algorithm changes, the rate had been going down. I have seen a constant rise in followers, reach, and impressions.
There are more people visiting my page and more engagement that is happening. It is very visible. I can see the difference from where I was to where I am today.
Also, before I started working with The Buzzster, I wasn’t ranking at all. With their help, I’m now on the first page.
How did The Buzzster perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management was good. I am extremely satisfied. I would not continue working with them if I wasn’t satisfied with their work or if I don’t see an outcome. I am seeing the organization, I like the vibe, and I am also seeing results which is very important.
Our usual communication was a mix of phone and email. We would email to finalize things, and if he had any tips or tricks for me, he would put it in an email so that it was always there for me. It was very organized in terms of communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Working with The Buzzster has been so organized, and I have everything that I can go back to later. I haven’t had to follow up on anything.
When I am hiring someone, I don’t want to add to my work. That was something that was very different and something I feel stands out. The Buzzster was equally involved in my project as if it was their own.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There is nothing that I can think of right now. I have been happy with the overall experience.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Let them take over and see the other side. I was like that, and I shut down any suggestions they were giving me. I decided to let them try and saw their point of view, and it really works.
Another good thing was if there was something that wasn’t working, they would come back to me and let me know they tried it but it wasn’t working. They have that responsibility in them. Let them take over your project because it is going to be good.
