Daimler Sales App Design & Development
Daimler wanted to create an application for sales consultants so they could easily sell cars on one platform. In the past, consultants had to extensively search to find information, such as the pricing and availability of a car. The goal was to streamline the process by creating an app that would include all of the information needed by the sales consultant.

Decathlon - Custom Software for Retail Space
Challenges
Decathalon required an experienced web- and UI/UX-focused company to help build a proprietary web-based middleware. The solution allows us to bridge the connection between our software and mechanical systems.
They desired a scalable solution that helps our e-commerce team to deliver on our two-hour e-commerce customer promise.
Solutions
Decathalon defined the project's goals and deliverables through a technical requirements document. We then invited them to participate in a discovery journey and several workshops that helped to streamline our targets and user journey. During the development process, Buuuk used agile methodology to provide us with consistent updates and communication.
Buuuk allotted up to seven resources including UI/UX designers, web and mobile developers, and a technical project manager to build the solution
Impact
Buuuk deployed the solution on time. Since it was relatively easy to scale, we could adjust the web-based settings according to Decathalon's business needs. Within several months, Decathalon's daily volume has increased threefold. The solution also allowed Decathalon to centralize their e-commerce operations in one location; as a result, they’ve optimized their overall processing time and costs.

myENV - Singapore Government Weather App
NEA launched the first version of the myENV app in 2011. It has since been downloaded over 500,000 times. We knew balancing the requirement to create a comprehensive app with the need for a simple interface would be our biggest challenge. We looked for solutions that would present the most relevant information in the most prominent manner while hiding the secondary information in a neatly organised way. This app includes:
- Summary Cards
- Contextual Info
- Tide, Sunrise and Sunset Times
- Haze Alerts
- Dengue Alerts

Harafy
Browse more than 5000 quality products including tiles, natural stone, mosaic, wood and sanitary ware & fittings and add them to a project list. Products can also be further allocated to specific areas of the renovation project. Mobile App designed and developed by Buuuk.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re an international automotive company that sells cars and mobility services. My role consists of ensuring a positive UX, so I work on many client-facing projects and focus on the impact it has on sales.
What challenge were you trying to address with Buuuk?
We wanted to create an application for sales consultants so they can easily sell cars on one platform. In the past, consultants had to extensively search to find information, such as the pricing and availability of a car. We were trying to streamline that by creating an app that serves as a one-stop-shop and would include a wealth of information.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We relied on Buuuk to design and construct our app’s UI/UX from scratch, using Sketch to display their work. Their team helped create designs for the app’s frontend, including key information for users to buy and sell cars.
What is the team composition?
They always have two people working on our project, but because we’ve been working with them for several years, the designers on the team have changed over time. However, Buuuk’s director has been a part of the team since we started working with them.
How did you come to work with Buuuk?
While we were looking for potential designers, we wanted to stay away from big firms that had really structured processes. During our search, we found Buuuk online and we were impressed by their portfolio. When we sat down with them to discuss ideas, it was clear that they understood our vision and we immediately liked the ideas that they generated.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them about a little over 3 years ago and our collaboration is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
All of our sessions have been fruitful; the work is high quality. Their deliverables are on point with what we want. It’s rare that we have revisions for the work they produce. We’re happy with every penny we’ve spent on their services and regularly recommend them to other internal departments. Overall, they’ve been a great partner.
How did Buuuk perform from a project management standpoint?
We work very closely with them. We have regular meetings, about once or twice a week, to review their work and make any changes. Occasionally we request revisions, but we trust them and their creative process, and we always end up with a great final product. Their team always asks the right questions and bring up relevant topics. Navjot (Director, Buuuk) manages our expectations and is vital as both a consultant and UI/UX expert. We communicate and track their progress through Sketch and InVision.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their ability to work like a startup, not bound by strict rules or structures, is something we like. They have a flexible approach to the work and their style complements ours very well. They’re exactly what we’re looking for in a partner and we really enjoy working with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any complaints and am very satisfied with their work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would tell other customers to give them more creative freedom and trust that they will deliver a solid final product. Even when we give them a direction to go in or the final product we want, we still allow them to express themselves creatively.

We desired a scalable solution that helps our e-commerce team to deliver on our two-hour e-commerce customer promise.
How did you select this vendor?
We considered vendors through an open bidding process. Each company was selected based on their previous experiences and track records. Internally, we had an evaluation committee to conduct reviews and interviews with the prospective shortlisted vendors.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
We defined the project's goals and deliverables through a technical requirements document. We then invited Buuuk to participate in a discovery journey and several workshops that helped to streamline our targets and user journey. During the development process, Buuuk used agile methodology to provide us with consistent updates and communication.
What was the team composition?
Buuuk allotted us up to seven resources including UI/UX designers, web and mobile developers, and a technical project manager.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Buuuk's local and off-shore teams consistently delivered on their promises. We received constant updates and communications via Slack and other mediums despite minor time zone differences. The project management was professional and agile; they adopted the latest PM methodology and reacted well to unexpected changes.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their communication and professionalism throughout the project stand out the most to us. We also appreciate Buuuk’s proactiveness.
