Our company is Maurice's Furnishings.

What is your position?

I am an office manager, and I handle some marketing.

What business challenge were you trying to address with Bullseye Marketing Consultants?

We were trying to improve our website by better marketing our website, and working on our SEO. I met with Patty [Smith, social media marketing and digital media consultant at Bullseye Marketing Consultants], and I felt very comfortable with her, so that's why we hired them.

Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.

Patty connected us with a photographer and we became a member of the Better Business Bureau and the chamber of commerce. Having those accreditations on our site is a good thing, especially for driving referrals. They also do our social media marketing.

She gave us some good ideas how to organize our website better so that it's easier for the customer to navigate our website. She advised that we write on blogs, and she constantly stays on top of us asking for new material and new pictures. She's a very pleasant person to work with. I feel like she really has the best intentions with our business, and we appreciate that.

How did you come to work with Bullseye Marketing Consultants?

I had actually requested them through an organization she was part of. I forget what company it was, but she ended up being the one responding to this request for our information. She was local and able to come by right away.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

It cost between $10,000 and $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started about two to three years ago. It's an ongoing process. It's just a matter of us getting her information. That's basically where the delay comes from sometimes. It's more on our end than hers. The website constantly needs updating. So far, so good – hopefully, we'll improve it as we go and figure out what works and go from there.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

There's definitely been more activity on our social media account, especially in our Facebook account. Bullseye Marketing posts every day, and that has definitely created a lot more traffic.

How did Bullseye Marketing Consultants perform from a project management standpoint?

They correspond very well. Every so often – maybe every month or so – somebody from their office will send us an email and ask us for more info to keep the website and social media current. The communication is good.

What distinguishes Bullseye Marketing Consultants from other providers?

Bullseye Marketing is very personable. I feel very comfortable with them and they're very professional. With other companies, it was more on you as the client to make everything happen and to send all the info. Patty wanted to know about our product, and I could tell she was trying to come up with some good ideas and different angles to look at it. They're trying to make it work for us.

Is there anything Bullseye Marketing Consultants could have improved or done differently?

There was some confusion while we were building our website about where pictures were posted and we weren't too happy about how they were laid out. It's very minor. We struggled with that to get the website straightened out. Other than that, no, I think we're pretty happy with them.
