Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the Creative Director for Proclamation Goods Co. We design high-quality, American-made cookware that empowers low-waste lifestyles.

For what projects/services did your company hire Bryt Designs, and what were your goals?

We hired Bryt Designs to implement a refresh of our outdated shopify website, and to help adapt the site to support product preorders.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We met Bryan and his team through a mutual contact.

Our shopify site hadn't been updated in about 2 years, had some janky custom-built elements that were no longer working properly, and we were hoping to start selling our product via preorder. We wanted to make these updates as fast as possible, so decided to just refresh our current site instead of building an entirely new one.

Our internal team poured through the site and created a massive punch list of design and dev related updates needed to support this quick refresh. Bryan and the Bryt Designs team tackled the punch list with speed, efficiency, and professional collaboration.

They provided fast, honest and thorough feedback of our ideas, and went above and beyond with their level of service.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After our refresh, we saw our Shopify site speed score increase by over 10 points. The updates made by Bryan and team also facilitated a smooth and successful launch of our preoders.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had a project kick off call, then mostly communicated via slack and @ mentions in google docs. Our team uses google docs for project management, and Bryan and team easily integrated into our workflow.

Responses to Slack messages were always prompt, and they always took the time to thoroughly explain an issue or situation so our non-dev team could understand and assess the best course forward.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The direct access to Bryan and his team, their quick response times, and their willingness to explain situations in detail.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing I can think of!
