Verity provides automated inventory tracking systems powered by self-flying drones. I lead marketing efforts for the company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Broadcast2World Inc., and what were your goals?
Our goal was to create a video that clearly explained how our system works and the key value proposition for our clients. We have no video expertise in house, so we hired Broadcast2World to create a 2-minute video to be used at trade shows, on website, and when presenting to clients.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We appreciated the creative approach to video development and felt that the samples we saw stood out from other vendors. The company's experience working with other technology providers was also a factor.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
We already had a script created with very precise messaging, so B2W worked with that and requested supporting materials, including still photos and video to supplement the animation. We also provided a preliminary voiceover to give the team a sense of the style we wanted.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
Our project manager (Puja) was very good at following up on deliverables and keeping us informed throughout the process. We made significant changes during the review phase, and the B2W team responded quickly and addressed our comments throughly.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The video was first used at a large tradeshow in the US, and the response was very good. Visitors told us that the video clearly communicated the how the system operates in the warehouse and the top benefits. We continue to use the video on sales calls, on our website, and at events.

B2W uses an online project management tool, Basecamp, that made it easy to track progress and communicate with the entire team.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The end result was a video that was unique to Verity and told our story in an interesting way. Though some of that was due to our direction, B2W added to the creative process to create a video that is unlike anything I've seen. The team was patient when we needed time to gather new imagery or feedback.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Much of the material and information we provided early on seemed to be forgotten, so we had to remind or re-send images and other content to the actual developers. Also, we had expected the final to include more live video (mixed media), and though we provided quite a bit of footage, very little was incorporated into the final.

I’m the marketing coordinator for a fiber optic component and device manufacturer. We have been developing, manufacturing, and selling optical components such as optical connectors & adapters and optical transceivers.
For what projects/services did your company hire Broadcast2World Inc., and what were your goals?
Two companies just merged and began operating under a new name, so we wanted to create a video that could introduce our company and benefits for existing customers and leads. Our goal was to play this introductory video at a trade show to promote the new us. We also planned to post the video on our social media to promote us and drive sales.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We looked for video production companies in the U.S. We saw some of their work with animation and infographics and liked them so much that we decided to choose this vendor to produce our video.

We started with a kick-off meeting. They worked with us to understand our company history and product before helping us create a script and storyboard. They delivered a 101-second mixed media video.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
We worked with a salesperson and a director who outlined the project and kept us on schedule. After each milestone, we would give them feedback, and she’d communicate it to the animators. They shared their work through PDFs, which allowed us to comment directly on certain design.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We showed off the new video to visitors at a tradeshow, and they were able to easily understand our company and product.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. We mostly communicate on Basecamp and email since we were in different time zones. We could talk with the animators directly through Basecamp, too.

They took the time to learn about our company and product, which made the final video better.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I wish we could comment directly on application such as InVision or Vimeo instead of PDFs.

We hired B2W to created animated videos that would distill complex ideas into digestible content.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I actually don't know; the vendor selection was done before I joined the organization.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
We started with Aanjaney showing us a variety of animation projects so that he could get a feel for the style we liked. We had a bit of trouble getting from the brief to the first draft of the script, but only because our field is incredible complex to someone who hasn't worked in it.
Now that I know the process, I will be better prepared for the next video, sharing a first draft of the script with the creative brief up front. Once we got through the script, the animators got to work illustrating the script with pictures. Still, we hadn't quite nailed down the content, so there was a lot of back and forth. Finally, we reviewed voice and music.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
We worked with Ashish and Aanjaney. The feedback process was a bit tedious; much of that was on us, but I think it would have helped to be better guided through the process and have B2W tell us exactly what they needed up front. At this stage, do this; at that stage, provide that.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are absolutely horrible at obtaining outcomes. I can tell you for sure that our whole team LOVES the animation and couldn't be more pleased with it.

Aanjaney couldn't have been nicer, and Ashish was endlessly accommodating. We communicated only over basecamp messaging. This may have impeded us a bit as sometimes my use of English wasn't as clear as it might have been (BRI versus Brit!).
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The illustrators were so creative in interpreting our concepts and truly brought them to light in a way that I didn't foresee. The simple, clean design is spot-on for technology.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
More guidance on the actual phases of the project would be helpful. I felt like I was mostly throwing bits and pieces at the team in an disorderly fashion.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a senior art director for an advertising agency.
What challenge were you trying to address with Broadcast2World?
We were trying to create an animated brand video to further expose more people to our client’s brand.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Broadcast2World’s services included storyboarding, scriptwriting, and choosing music. We provided them with a brief, but we didn’t provide them with the whole idea because we wanted them to be creative.
What is the team composition?
Three people primarily worked on the project, but there were a couple of other people involved in the background.
How did you come to work with Broadcast2World?
One of our clients recommended Broadcast2World. After that, we saw some of the commercials they produced and we were impressed by their work. The team was able to capture the emotional aspect needed in the animation videos they created. We then worked with them because we were going after what they could offer.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $11,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from June–December 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Everybody thought that their work was amazing — they were an expert in animation. Other than that, we wouldn’t be able to share any impact yet because we haven’t been able to use their work.
How did Broadcast2World perform from a project management standpoint?
They had a fantastic process, and we communicated through email, phone calls, and their project management tool. The project management tool allowed us to get updates on their work.
In addition, the team talked to us several times throughout the process to make sure we had a clear understanding of what was going on. Above all, they were extremely patient even though there were times it took us a long time to get back to them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their storytelling skills were impressive. We worked with a lot of video vendors over the years, and they were only able to turn a brief into a good video. On the other hand, Broadcast2World was capable of creating a video that had emotional resonance.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. They were pretty great, and they were timely.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Stay out of their way. Sometimes it can be tempting to try and do the work for the team by saying exactly what you want in a video. However, I suggest giving Broadcast2World a general idea of what you’re looking for and letting them do their thing.
