I’m the senior manager of digital marketing at an insurance startup. We use a smart algorithm to recommend health, life, and auto insurance companies to customers.

Our goal right now is to drive organic traffic. Briefkase Digital Communications is optimizing our website’s content and providing off-page SEO. Next, we will work on lead generation.

They are getting results for us. One of our goals is to increase organic traffic, and they are doing that. Many keywords are ranking on the first and second pages of Google.

I’m the co-founder of Tattva Spa. We offer premium wellness and beauty services at over 50 locations across India.

What challenge were you trying to address with Briefkase Digital Communications?

We wanted to revamp our branding to drive traffic at our wellness centers, which are located inside of hotels. Most of our customers are people staying at these hotels, and our number of external walk-ins was abysmal. Our objective was to become more discoverable so that we could grow the amount of non-resident customers.

Because we’re angel-funded and self-funded, we didn’t have a large marketing budget that we could use to build awareness through conventional mediums. For this reason, we decided to focus on digital marketing and hired Briefkase Digital Communications to help us with SEO, PPC, and social media marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Briefkase Digital Communications manages all aspects of our digital marketing strategy, which includes PPC, social media marketing, and SEO. The team has implemented a variety of new tools and strategies to help us generates leads. In addition, the team has started to overhaul our website in hopes of improving its design and communicating our brand story in a more interesting way.

What is the team composition?

We communicate regularly with Mandar and Purab (Co-founders, Briefkase Digital Communications). We also have an account lead, two social media marketers, a PPC specialist, and a web developer.

How did you come to work with Briefkase Digital Communications?

One of our investors connected us to Briefkase Digital Communications. I loved how they focused on specific segments rather than a blanket marketing strategy., and I chose them because I knew that we would be able to start the project with a smaller scope while we learned more about their capabilities.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent over 36 lakh rupees (approximately $50,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the project in April 2016. They continue to provide us with digital marketing services.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since we started working with Briefkase Digital Communications, the portion of our business that comes from walk-ins has increased from 5%–10% to approximately 70% in some areas. We’ve also set up a call center to handle the growing number of inquiries that we receive from potential customers who visit our site. Briefkase Digital Communications' multifaceted approach to digital marketing has had a hugely positive impact on our business and our brand.

How did Briefkase Digital Communications perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve had a fantastic working relationship with Briefkase Digital Communications. Both Mandar and Purab are quick to follow up and respond to our questions. Sometimes their team misses things, and when that happens, I can always reach out to Mandar knowing that he will handle it.

The feedback process has also been seamless. We have monthly review calls and yearly strategy meetings that serve as opportunities to discuss progress and adjustments.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I haven’t felt comfortable trusting other vendors with my money because I haven’t always known details about their work. Briefkase Digital Communications is transparent and forthcoming, and I can rely on them to deliver results.

Briefkase Digital Communications is also knowledgeable about the digital marketing space and frequently offers new strategies for generating leads. Additionally, their prices are low, given the impact they’ve had on our business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At first, I wasn’t satisfied with their content and design work. Initially, emails and social media posts were a bit of a challenge. This changed after several new members join their team, and now my concern is completely gone.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s important to give Briefkase Digital Communications clear direction for how you want your brand to grow. You’ll need to highlight your needs and explain the nuances of your business.

If you give them a macro overview that's backed with data, they’ll be able to deliver excellent results. Also, even after you’ve achieved your goals, remember to engage with them often to implement necessary changes.
