The deck ended up fantastic and received quite a lot of positive feedback from those who saw it first. They had to redo everything - from intro to ending + infographics and content

Brandly Collective’s scope of work was to take our already defined core brand positioning for Ayran-Mayran and translate it into a practical digital communication strategy for the launch of the brand. The key deliverables included a launch-focused content strategy, social media direction for digital channels, key messaging, tone of voice development, creative content territories, and a framework for how the brand should communicate across different launch phases. They helped us define how the brand’s personality, humor, product ritual, and food-related consumption moments could be expressed through digital content in a way that felt distinctive, relevant, and easy to execute. Their work also included recommendations for content formats, campaign themes, social media storytelling, and creative directions that could help introduce Ayran-Mayran as a new FMCG beverage brand with a recognizable voice and a clear role in the market.

We are still in the early stage of measuring full commercial and performance outcomes. However, the project has already created clear progress in terms of launch readiness, communication consistency, and ongoing digital execution. Brandly Collective helped us move from a defined brand positioning to a structured digital communication framework that is now actively used across channels. They also manage the digital strategy by channel and support us with content plans, content strategies, and recommendations for how the brand should communicate across different launch phases. This has helped us align internal and external stakeholders around one communication direction, accelerate the preparation and execution of launch content, and build a more consistent brand presence from the start. At this stage, the biggest success is that Ayran-Mayran entered the market with a distinctive voice, a recognizable communication system, and a clear foundation for future content development and performance optimization.

At this stage, there are no major areas for improvement. The only thing that could be further developed as the project evolves is deeper performance measurement and optimization once we have more market data from the launch. Since the brand launched recently, this is a natural next step rather than a weakness in the collaboration.

They have a profound understanding of the needs of a startup, however, they have an equally as deep understanding of the requirements for bigger organisations. This means that they will be able to deliver regardless of the size or the stage of your company and do it well. They always have a good insight into what the users may need and/or want. The team works great as a unit and very efficiently. They take ownership of their work, and also what we have asked of them resulting in an even better product than initially designed/imagined.

They are also very well-versed in their area of expertise and this was evident really early on during our first discussions. Thus we were able to fully trust their opinions and suggestions. It's rare to come by a company that you could consider as a partner. But Brandly Collective is exactly that, they make you feel that they are your partner and I am excited to grow and go on this journey together.

I am a founder of BKnives Ltd. I work with companies in Japan and import handmade knives and utensils in Bulgaria that I sell here locally. Of course my business is also exposed to the EU.

For what projects/services did your company hire Brandly Collective?

I hired Brandly as they have amazing reputation in Bulgaria with the sole purpose of creating a simple but yet custom online store to list and sell my products online. As I offer high-end and premium products I had to hire and reach out to a company and team that can deliver on what I needed.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I spoke with few friends and got two or three offers and few storefront platforms but time to market, price, overall set of deliveries and customisation were a key factor for me - anyone can create a store from WooCommerce or other platform. I wanted something unique and something that can be built from 6mo to 1 year as my suppliers also needed more time due to the COVID with the merchandise.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We had few initial meetings like two or three for me to explain what I am selling, what's behind my products, what makes them so special, e.g. these are high end japanese knives handmade by the best blacksmiths. The products that I offer are the most premium available in the world. What's their story and what makes them special. Then we entered the story telling phase where we just told the story. We put a lot of effort on the details and this is what I liked a lot - the fonts, the pictures, the layouts, the menus - all tailored to the finest detail.

At the same time we drafted the initial designs which then turned into the actual templates of my store. We drilled down into each product, it's description and small details. We looked at the overall navigation, menus and experience from a desktop and mobile perspective - so important these days. We decided also to translate the website. Meanwhile I was given a lot of tutorials and help on how the back-end and how the website works and is being built/organized. I was also involved in all phases. I liked the tools and how we organized the project. Feedback was given in a timely fashion.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I think at least 5-6, two project managers, few developers, QA, Documentation/Storytellers who also translated my website, etc. The entire team was passionate, dedicated and also very interested in my project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We tried to set and pursue different milestones based on the stages of the project, first few months to have the Brandly team understand what I need and what I am about to do and offer, the story telling, designs, photos, and we had draft designs and a draft story. This turned into:

• a website
• a set of products with photos and description
• team chased me all the time to do my stuff as I did vice versa
• we had frequent meetings
• live and zoom
• we integrated a merchant
• we finalized the layouts
• we finalized all the text
• we translated the website
• we did all the fit and finish I am sure I forget a lot of stuff

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The PMs were always handy and the entire team through basecamp and phone, zoom, etc. I haven't struggled to reach out or to get feedback, we did spend a lot of time discussing our ideas.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their process, at first I was like why do you need all this stuff, it's just a website but the thing that amazed me the most is the importance of story telling, the details around the look and feel of the website and the effort put together to make something unique - the Brandly team put a lot of effort to not only deliver but deliver with their passion and signature!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not critical things but how we organize photos, I found small errors in the text and translations, nothing so big of a deal.
