Gene Martino is a Malaysian brand of modestwear, made for modern women and her entire family. Over the last 20 years, the brand has established 70 retail stores and a reputation for modern designs and manufacturing excellence.
This Raya, Gene Martino wanted a brand message that emphasised its appreciation for family togetherness and happiness.
Despite its numerous retail stores, Gene Martino did not own much of the digital conversation, compared to better known brands that had more engaging digital presence.
We developed a digital campaign to drive leads and generate online conversations and conversions for the brand. We developed brand materials such as creative design and a themed video to create meaningful conversations.
We developed a story and messaging framework for the campaign, and utilised different channels to drive conversations, such as social media, online influencers, video engagement and digital ads.
Despite severe challenges from external situations and overall global impact, we achieved our lead generation target ahead of schedule. We tied in all elements of the campaign to achieve a holistic effect.
Byme Skincare was founded by a Malaysian searching for a business reason to move back to Malaysia and build her business in Asia. She started with skincare and took 3 years to painstakingly research the type of products best suited for Asian skin and our humid climate. We came on board when the founder wanted to give her brand a relevant voice.
As a new brand, Byme needed a strong message, a unique voice and effective marketing to deliver the brand story to the target markets. Skincare and beauty is a crowded and saturated market, with numerous brands fighting for customer attention.
We started from scratch, developing a gentle and effective persona and strategy for Byme to converse with and relate to the target audience. We communicated the brand strategy through design, packaging, digital marketing and a launch campaign. We developed a brand story framework that spoke to the key target markets, and communicated the story through video, creative design, brochures, website and ground activations. We attracted media interest in the brand and secured interviews as well as product reviews.
The pre-launch campaign achieved 125% of its target, we built a customer database for consistent marketing and gathered over 25 media and digital reviews, interviews and mentions.
UAC has an illustrious history with its premium products and long client list. Over the years of its organic growth, the business developed numerous materials by various departments in various countries. There was a lack of alignment and consistency, making the brand difficult to recognise and be recalled.
We set an overall brand tone and direction, and implemented this across the various media, making sure to cater to each media's characteristics. We streamline a relatable and consistent brand image for UAC Berhad, across all its print, digital, outdoor and brand materials.
We then developed a corporate identity guideline to help guide the internal team in further communications.
Brand alignment across all media provided better brand recognition and recall.
