What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Overall, we are extremely pleased with their work. Our monthly revenue went up by at least 33% when we started working with them. Some months, it even went up by 40%. We’ve had our highest months of revenue while working with Brand & Mortar.
They’re very professional and flexible. Having the right partner that understood neuroscience and psychology and how to market them safely, appropriately, and ethically was really important to us. And we haven’t had a problem with that.
How did Brand & Mortar perform from a project management standpoint?
The project management has been excellent. Before the project began, we were able to meet with one of their directors and they explained the value that they could add to our company and gave us all the details, facts, figures, and statistics. They also told us exactly who would be working with.
In Ontario, there are a lot of rules and regulations for psychologists about what they can market and talk about. So, it can be difficult to create any marketing content. With Brand & Mortar, we were fortunate enough to be paired with the right person who knew the industry, made everything successful.
That was a problem we had with other companies. We had to go back and forth, telling them that we couldn’t post certain content because of the rules.
What did you find most impressive about them?
All the services are offered in-house: website development, marketing, PPC, SEO, and asset creation. They’re also able to organize print ads and conferences. This is important to us because there is value in doing some things offline.
Brand & Mortar also demonstrates an interest in our industry and business. It feels like they’re part of the team even though they aren’t.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s one director who we really enjoy working with. He does a really good job. If he were able to train more people to think uniquely like him, it would be more beneficial for the team. They could work on strategic development to help small businesses grow into medium-sized businesses.
Additionally, they could work on the turn around time for websites. They quoted us about 6–8 weeks for the website, but we wanted it to be done much earlier. They delivered it after eight weeks, which was on time. We just would’ve preferred to have received it earlier.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them the opportunity to come in and let them develop a unique strategy for you before you make the decision to go with another company. It’ll be worth the time. Make time for them to give you a personalized presentation of your company and how they can help. Even if you don’t end up working with them, the ideas they’ll give you will really help.
