For what projects/services did your company hire Brainiac Studio, and what were your goals?

We asked Brainiac to develop a Fintech system for Payments acceptance and reconciliation.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online and asked for references. We were referred by few Industry veterans.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had a scope and requirements meeting with them. They created an FSD and BRD document locking the scope. Based on that there was an MVP created by them along with Mockups initially and wireframes.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

3 to 5 people worked on this.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We had very good feedback from clients after launching it. We were also able to raise significant funding on this.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had a focal point from their team who was a project manager. We used Slack and also Emails as communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I appreciated their willingness to go the extra mile for us and always doing more than we asked for.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think there were some changes we asked for during the middle of the project which we accept as our fault. This increased the time of the project and since it was a different module their were some bugs found later on. However they were fixed.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Delta Logic Pvt Ltd. Our startup develops digital platforms for broadcasters and content curators. Our products feature more than a year’s worth of content from television and radio.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brainiac Studio?

We needed a company to develop both our web-based application and mobile app for audiences.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainiac Studio developed our mobile-friendly web application along with mobile apps for iOS and Android. I believe they used PHP. We host a variety of radio and television content on our platform, and our mobile app allows users to curate their favorite shows. 

Through our platform, viewers can interact with show hosts and radio DJ’s. They can conduct polls and call into the radio or television shows. Our product enables interaction between audiences and content curators.

The initial platform took about three months to complete. Brainiac Studio continues to update it and make necessary changes.

What is the team composition? 

I work with the founder and the CEO who bring in different developers from the team as needed.

How did you come to work with Brainiac Studio?

We shortlisted a few companies during our search. Brainiac Studio was referred to us by a contact they had worked for.  Based on that positive review, we decided to hire them as well.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $20,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2017, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since working with Brainiac Studio, we’ve partnered with multiple local channels that are currently featured on our platform. At the moment, we’re also in talks to do business with additional broadcasters.

How did Brainiac Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Brainiac Studio is a very impressive, cooperative, and understanding company. They’re easy to communicate with and adaptive to our changes. Our platform is turnkey and is not available anywhere else in the world. They’re very accommodating and quick to learn what we want.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Brainiac Studio is a new team that’s hungry for work. They’re eager to do everything within their power to deliver. They work hard and are doing a very good job.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Brainiac Studio should hire more resources.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend potential consumers conduct careful research of their own before approaching any developer. Do a background study about exactly what you want. Brainiac Studio is quite capable of delivering whatever a client might need.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Innovarge Technologies. About six years ago, we started at a software house, and we’ve since established ourselves as a top provider in Pakistan. We mainly work with local clients in the government and corporate industries.

At the same time, we set up an e-commerce store called Just4girls.pk, and acquired two cosmetic brands from America and the UK. Currently, we’re selling both online and in Pakistani stores.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brainiac Studio?

Our software team wasn’t familiar with Magento technologies—the base of our cosmetics website. We tried outsourcing a few times, but we didn't see results. We were looking for a new vendor to optimize our website, improve load time, and clean up the signup and payment processes, ultimately boosting business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainiac Studio worked on our website, making changes to speed up our load time and improve its performance. They also addressed any outstanding issues and updated some functionalities. The team then developed a corresponding iOS and Android app and provided any upgrades that we requested.

Currently, they assist with SEO strategy to increase our digital visibility. Additionally, they manage our social media marketing campaigns.

What is the team composition?

I interact with two resources from their team, one for development needs and one for SEO. The workflow is fluid; we send them our requirements, and they handle each task.

How did you come to work with Brainiac Studio?

I received a promotional SMS from their company and reached out. I spoke with Naveed (Founder and CEO, Brainiac Studio) and he made a good first impression. He’s now a good friend of mine.

How much have you invested with them?

Some of our projects were one-time deals, like developing the website and creating the apps, for which we spent between $8,000–$10,000. We pay them on a monthly basis for SEO and maintenance services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Brainiac Studio on our website around August 2017. They finished that project within two months, but they continue to provide support and maintenance as needed.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re software people, so we didn’t know much about the dynamics involved in running an e-commerce store. Before working with Brainiac Studio, we were struggling to get orders in and reach new clients. As our partnership progressed, our incoming orders and new customer rates increased by about 40–45%. They continue to generate positive results.

How did Brainiac Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m satisfied with the experience. They are always available to address my questions or concerns, and they consistently meet deadlines. I’ve already recommended their services to two other companies, which led to successful relationships in both cases.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their availability is their key strength. Given that e-commerce is not a nine-to-five business, we need to be able to solve issues at any time of day to ensure customer satisfaction. Brainiac Studio coordinates with us extremely efficiently, swiftly resolving all of our problems.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Like any startup, they’ll have to scale their team as they acquire more clients. I’ve given some advice to their CEO regarding expansion, suggesting that they should broaden their offerings. Right now, they’re focused on e-commerce and apps, but they can do more.
