A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

Could you provide a brief description of your company?

We are a credit repair agency. So, we’re able to delete negative items permanently off one’s credit bureau. Our company have offices in Boston and other areas of the countries as well. We have about 12 employees [who] I’m responsible for.

What’s your role and responsibilities?

I’m one of the managing partners. I’m also in charge of recruiting the referral sources.

Could you describe the business challenges you were trying to address before working with Boston Web Group?

We wanted a website presence. We wanted to be able to compete with many others out there that have a site. Today, if you don’t have some type of Web presence, you’re overlooked. They were able to help us out with that. It was extremely successful.

Could you describe the scope of the project?

Primarily for us, what they did was the site. They also helped us with our back office, to create a kind of synergy with the clientele and the referral source. They played a big part in that. We’ve spent a significant amount of money in our back office and take pride in it, and they were very helpful in designing and helping out with that infrastructure. It worked out really well.

How did you select Boston Web Group as your solution partner?

We wanted somebody having an artistic side to themselves. We didn’t want to be generic. We wanted to appeal to all sorts of clients across the United States. When we interviewed a few different companies, Boston Web Group came highly recommended through someone else. We ended up using them. We liked them a lot. We thought they had some really great ideas, artistic background, and that’s what worked for us.

When was the project started and completed?

It started in 2006. The relationship is still ongoing.

In terms of results, could you share any statistics, metrics or user feedback that would demonstrate the effectiveness of the work they’ve delivered?

The new interactive site has been an enormous help for us in connecting and maintaining a relationship between the referral source the client and us. It’s a very interactive site. We are able to update information a lot quicker.

How well do you think Boston Web Group performed overall?

I think they did very well, and they still are continuing to show this. It’s been an ongoing relationship and they’ve been very responsive. If we need something, if we’re adding material or there are areas we can improve, they’re right there with us.

When working with Boston Web Group, is there anything you’d consider unique or special about their approach or development methodology that distinguishes them from other vendors you’ve used?

First and foremost is knowledge and customer service. Those two things, for me, were huge. I like the fact that it’s a small company, but  large enough to be able to take on some very large projects, so that was very helpful.
