When we first brought them on, our website was barely getting any organic traffic and our Google Ads were just kind of running on autopilot without much strategy. They started with a complete audit of our site and identified a bunch of technical issues that were holding us back, things like slow page speeds and indexing problems we had no idea about.
From there, they built out a comprehensive keyword strategy focused on placement and recruitment terms that actually matter in our market. They rewrote a lot of our website content to be more search-friendly while still sounding natural, and created new pages targeting specific industries we recruit for.
On the ads side, they completely restructured our campaigns, tightened up our targeting, and rewrote our ad copy. They also adjusted our bidding strategies to focus on conversions rather than just clicks, which made a huge difference.
The key deliverables included monthly reports showing our ranking progress, traffic growth, and lead metrics. A lot of SEO companies will tell you what they're doing but you never really see if it's working. With Boost One, the results spoke for themselves, we could see our rankings climbing, our phone ringing more, and our ad costs going down. That accountability was huge for us.
The AI optimization piece was something we'd never even heard of before. The fact that they were ahead of the curve on getting us visible in ChatGPT and other AI tools showed they're not just doing the same cookie-cutter stuff as everyone else. They're actually thinking about where search is heading.
I'd also say their communication style was refreshingly straightforward. Are there any areas for improvement or something Boost One SEO could have done differently?
Honestly, it's hard to find much to criticize given how well everything went. If I had to mention something, it would be that in the very beginning, there was a bit of a learning curve for them to fully understand our specific industry and the nuances of recruitment in Quebec. It took a few weeks and some back-and-forth conversations before they really got the terminology and what our clients are actually searching for. But once they understood it, they were great.
Other than that, maybe just more frequent check-ins early on would have been nice . like bi-weekly instead of monthly in the first couple months, just so we felt more in the loop while they were making all these changes. But that's really nitpicking. Once we got into a rhythm, the monthly cadence worked perfectly fine.
Overall, we're very happy with how things went and wouldn't change much about the experience.
