I work at Audifintax & Asociados, Ltd. We are representatives in Ecuador of the international firm IEC Net based in France. We provide external audit, accounting, legal, and tax services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bonsai?

We were looking to improve position our firm on the web and social media.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve had a two-year professional relationship with Bonsai. So far, they have worked with us on web design, app development, Google Ads positioning, and the design of brochures and other branding materials, among other things.

What is the team composition?

I work directly with Ariel (Owner), but I’m also in touch with two more people.

How did you come to work with Bonsai?

I did some online research on local companies but the proposals I received didn’t meet my expectations. Later on, I started doing research on international companies and found Bonsai. I checked their client’s portfolio and I found it very interesting, so I sent them a message through a chatbot. The next day, they called me. We had a conversation about our needs and what they could do for us. It was all very dynamic and agile so we started working with them.

We have spent around $1,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in July 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results have been great. We have had a great increase in our client base thanks to our website. Bonsai has also provided us with great analytics information about the website´s performance; that has allowed us to increase our clients’ portfolio on average about 35%–40%.

How did Bonsai perform from a project management standpoint?

Something I really liked is their planning and scheduling. You can tell they like their work: they are always providing advice and recommendations.

Their experience, dedication, and timeliness stand out.

I am very happy with their work. I had had very bad experiences before and their service was just superior.

The website is completed. I’ve heard positive comments about it, and I like the site as well. Their team did a good job.

We communicated through email and phone calls. Everything was done remotely.

The team at Bonsai met our expectations.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s more an issue with broadband in the country. If a site’s architecture has a lot of images, it takes the site longer to load. I talked to their team about it, and there were able to improve it.

Bonsai helped us out by creating a website. They suggested a specialized company for the design part. They contacted them, and everything worked very well.

It consists of two people.

We tried to work on this project with someone else and we had a very bad experience. After that, I contacted Bonsai. I had heard from them online and checked some of their work. For us, it was key that they seemed very professional, and they were based here in Buenos Aires.

We’ve been working with them since around September of 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

For us, it was very important to have a site that was simple, friendly, and reflected our brand. 

The results have been great. They were fast workers and provided great consulting and technical support (which we still have). The final result was a well-made site with everything we need to get good results.

How did Bonsai perform from a project management standpoint?

They were great at communications—we used mostly email and WhatsApp. They always kept us up to date on any progress on the site. So yes, that part was excellent. They are detail-oriented, efficient, and most importantly, very kind.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their active listening and understanding of the needs of their clients were key. Plus, their fast response and partnership during the process.

I don’t have anything negative to say.

I found them through Google Ads. I contacted them, and they provided a quick response that fitted our needs. I felt like I could trust them and that they were very savvy about exactly what we needed.

We started working with them around June 2018 and continue our collaboration.

Our website has better visibility, and we receive more visits now. The design is also a lot more modern and attractive now. We have found more clients and a greater income thanks to Bonsai’s Google Ads work as well.

They’ve been great. Bonsai always reports on the progress of the project and constantly asks for our feedback. They meet every deadline as well.

The team at Bonsai built a WordPress website for our business. The site displays information, allows users to make reservations, and helps users leave reviews. Their team created customized plugins for the reservation aspect.

I was directly in touch with three people.

I researched IT companies for another project we had. I visited a website that I liked, and I saw Bonsai’s name in the footer. I decided to contact them, and after speaking with them, I realized they were our best choice for this project.

We started working on the platform three months ago, and the project finished last month.

My partners and I are pleased with the results. We are still awaiting launch.

I was impressed with the fluid communication. Based on other experiences I’ve had with similar projects, I’m aware of how hard it is to have a project ready by a deadline. Their team finished the website by its original deadline.

I was working with my previous developer and wasn’t completely happy with his work. I asked around and Bonsai was referred by a colleague. I contacted them and saw that they were professional with their great working methods and timing. Because of this, I was completely convinced to continue working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Because of their work, our clients have seen higher conversion rates for their businesses. It’s increased between 15%-18%.

How did Bonsai perform from a project management standpoint?

They use Trello for project management. Their team is strict about deadlines. We always agree on dates together. One day before the due date, I always have a test site available. From a project management standpoint, they’re great.

The team at Bonsai stands out when it comes to Google Ads and web development.
