We have two organizations. I’m the president of The Door Shop, a company that sells doors and hardware for large commercial facilities. The other company is called 3C Industries, a construction management company focused on commercial projects.

We’ve partnered with Bolder & Co. Creative Studios for both of our companies for various services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bolder & Co. Creative Studios designed and developed a website for us. We had many meetings to discuss how we wanted to define ourselves through the site. We are a company that offers very technical products, expertise, and services, so we had to work very closely with them on the details of how we wanted to present ourselves.

Aside from that, they also handled our rebranding efforts. We used them to establish our initial logos, set up our site, create accounts, and launch a branding campaign. They conducted market and competitive research, after which they presented the potential client base we could target in our market. They also created various marketing and branding assets for us.

Bolder & Co. Creative Studios currently handles our SEO initiatives and manages our website, emails, and accounts.

I’ve worked with Mark (Founder & CEO), Ken (Creative Director), and Katelyn (CFO) from Bolder & Co. Creative Studios.

They’re a local design company. We saw that they had a lot of experience working with major brands, so we decided to go with them for this project.

We’ve spent around $25,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2016, and the engagement is ongoing.

We’ve seen steady growth in our yearly revenue, and Bolder & Co. Creative Studios’ involvement has been integral to this success.

How did Bolder & Co. Creative Studios perform from a project management standpoint?

Bolder & Co. Creative Studios has performed well in terms of project management. Everything in the construction supply industry is deadline-based, and our company’s communication is the only way we can differentiate ourselves from our competition. Bolder & Co. Creative Studios operates in the same manner that I would have expected from my industry — they're great at communicating, driving our project, and meeting deadlines.

We primarily communicate through email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When it comes to branding design, Bolder & Co. Creative Studios is as good as I can find. They’ve been able to design something that represented what we do very well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if they could be more proactive in reaching out to us to see if there are any specific needs we have with our business that they could help with, such as updates or additional information to support our growing clientele.

Make sure to know what you want and to clearly define your budget before going into the project.

I am the owner of an agricultural construction company.

Bolder has assisted us with branding, designs, flyers and now apparel.

How did you select this vendor?

We were not satisfied with the work of our previous marketing agency. Mark from Bolder reached out and shared his vision. My team was impressed with the ideas we were presenting and we have been working with Bolder ever since.

The most recent project was team apparel. We gave Bolder what style, color and material and the returned to us with a design in a few days. We made one small change and approved the shirts for production. A few weeks later they were hand delivered to our office.

The logo and branding work was overseen by a project manager. We had several review meetings with the design team during the process. For the apparel order we worked with the same person. Wayne was instrumental in final product! Big thanks to Wayne!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The team apparel designed by Bolder & Co. Creative Studios looked and felt great. Team members are proud to wear them and we have received several compliments on the professional look.

Management is very good and keeping meetings concise and productive. The team follows up in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We find very little need to make changes to the designs the Bolder team presents. It is great to get designs we can run with rather than spending weeks going back and forth on designs.

Bolder & Co. Creative Studios has been working with us to develop a marketing plan surrounding our services and targeting the areas we cover. Their work includes material creation to communicate our sales and marketing initiatives to our customers — they focus on Facebook and our website as our main platforms.

We’ve worked with their whole team, including Mark (CEO), their COO, and design experts.

How did you come to work with Bolder & Co. Creative Studios?

They were referred to us by a board member that knew their team. We decided to reach out to them, discuss what we wanted, and listen to their services. After that, we kicked it off.

So far, we’ve spent $250,000–$500,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since working together, we’ve noticed a decrease in customer churn, meaning people are leaving our business. We’ve also experienced an increase in customer take rates in the targeted areas.

How did Bolder & Co. Creative Studios perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is excellent; they communicate superbly and meet deadlines, and we haven’t had any issues with them. Regarding contact, we use Zoom, weekly calls, and in-person meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re great at what they do; their team is knowledgeable in their area, responsive, personable, and always available — they’re like an extension of our company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on. I’m delighted with the work they’ve been doing for us — they’re more than I can ask for.

Be open and upfront with what you want. Also, trust the process and feel confident in what they provide.

I am an owner at AeroElite Interiors. We specialize in the refurbishment of aircraft interiors, specifically in the corporate aviation sector.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We met Mark at an aviation conference and hit it off. Their culture and perspective were a great match right away.

Bolder redesigned our logo and website from the ground up. They also did a great job with creating consistent branding across all of our customer touchpoints. From business cards to convention display booths, Bolder helped us achieve a very professional look.

It has been a little while since I had contact with Bolder, so I don't remember everyone's name, but we were in contact with several of their team members on a weekly basis.

Unfortunately, COVID severely disrupted our business such that we were unable to realize the gains from much of the work Bolder had done.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was good. If there was ever an issue that required attention, the team was always there to help and get things straightened out very quickly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by their attitude and enthusiasm for their work. You could tell this was a group of people who genuinely wanted success for their clients.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm sure as the relationship continued we would have changed things here and there, however we'll never know how that could have look because of the disruptions from COVID.

It was all talk, no results, and, honestly, a big waste of money. But Bolder is different. They’ve captured the attention of many hard-to-reach potential customers and have moved our sales efforts years ahead in just a matter of months. Bolder Creative’s standout performance has earned our trust and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results they’ve delivered.

It was an easy process. Bolder provided examples for our review and approval. Once approved, their time to delivery was fast and efficient.
