We had a series of meetings to outline deliverables and my objectives for the website. I was shown mockups and guided through the design process and which platforms I should use.
We made decisions together and I felt comfortable during the process. I was shown the final website, given documentation on what needed to be done and how to use certain plugins, and I was off.

At the time of my work with BM Interactive Group, I was the founder of a legal technology startup called Jurbid.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with BM Interactive Group?
I contracted with BM Interactive group to design the UX/UI of a platform that I was building.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
The majority of their work was UX. We created a platform whereby individuals could post legal issues and have the issue routed to lawyers with specific jurisdictions. Lawyers can then submit proposals to these issues, providing the consumer with an average of five lawyers competing to represent them. They developed the frontend of the platform and managed the project up until its launch.
What is the team composition?
At any given time I was working with 2-3 individuals.
How did you come to work with BM Interactive Group?
When I first spoke with their team, they really understood the vision and were able to put themselves into my shoes. When you want a project done to a certain level of quality, you have to make sure you hire the right people. BM Interactive group was the only one who convinced me that they would be able to turn my dream into reality.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $35,000-$40,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project ran from around September 2015-June 2016.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We had over 85% of the people who went through our user flow in the testing stages describe the experience as logical, intuitive, and easy to use. The feedback was tremendously positive. When we launched, that positive feedback continued, and we were also able to measure an incredibly low drop off rate from clients entering the platform on their own.
How did BM Interactive Group perform from a project management standpoint?
I think they pride themselves on having an agile approach to project management, but they also have very clear timelines as to what deliverables must be met and how things should be structured. I had very little experience in building out a system like this myself, so I heavily relied on his expertise. When he set milestones on his end, I knew that they would always be met.
What did you find most impressive about them?
To me, the project really felt like it was with a partner rather than a third-party provider. For example, prior to the launch of the product, they proposed a feedback and testing session with 15-20 random users who we were able to use as a test case for last-minute tweaks and improvements. Things like that just go to show how willing they always were to go above and beyond the strict scope of the project to help me be successful.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Early on in the project, the developer they were working with was dragging his feet a little too much, but they took corrective actions to remedy the delays that caused as soon as they were able. They do a good job of always continuing to improve and recognizing when they have any problems.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Take the time do develop that intimate relationship with them and you will see the result in the quality of the work that they provide for you because they want you to be successful.

BM Interactive Group looks at the entire ecosystem of your product and business when delivering a project and maintaining your image. They look at the different pieces and pick out what’s most important to communicate to your customers.
They also work to understand your core idea and reimagine how to achieve success. From what they brought to the table, I think our overall product and results are much, much better.
