I’m a senior campaigner at Small Axe Ltd., a non-profit organization that creates progressive, hopeful movements and develops leaders to inspire action on urgent social, environmental, and political issues.

What challenge were you trying to address with Blask Agency?

We needed help redeveloping our website into a simple, mobile-first campaign microsite that serves as a home for personal stories from parents, educators, and organizations about why every primary school child should receive free school meals.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Blask Agency developed a mobile-first, single-page microsite on Webflow. The site included a story feed and Action Network/Airtable content workflow with approved stories manageable and publishable through Airtable. The team also created an iFrame embeddable version for partner websites with a simple version of customer stories. Blask Agency implemented the supplied static designs responsively, including the necessary functional interactions for the story feed, forms, and content expansion, with light transitions, hover states, and other simple interactive flourishes to enhance the user experience.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were impressed with the finished product. One partner embedded the website on their site, and we received 340 new stories, 17 new statements from organizations, and 4,700 new visitors, up 389% since the relaunch.

How did Blask Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Patryk (Founder) was fantastic, and their communication was great. They also delivered early. We communicated through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Blask Agency's communication and flexibility when we asked them to bring a deadline forward were impressive. The warranty was also great. Having Patryk on Slack was reassuring.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Some of the integrations we set up didn't function well. It would have been good to come up with a collaborative solution rather than Blask Agency fitting to the subpar way we'd planned to set it up.

Blask was engaged to migrate our website from WordPress to Webflow, with a strong focus on improving performance, on-page SEO, and overall user experience. The scope included a full technical migration, optimization of site speed, and implementation of SEO best practices across key pages. In parallel, Blask redesigned the homepage and several core pages, ensuring alignment with our existing brand guidelines while enhancing clarity and usability. Key deliverables included a fully functional Webflow website, improved loading times, optimized page structure and metadata, and refreshed high-impact page designs. The project was executed in a highly structured manner, with a clear process that enabled fast turnaround and measurable improvements.

The project delivered strong, measurable improvements across key areas. Page load time was reduced from ~3.5s to under 1.5s, significantly improving performance and Core Web Vitals. Organic traffic increased by around 35% within three months, with several target keywords reaching the first page of search results.

User engagement also improved, with bounce rate dropping by ~20% and average session duration increasing by over 25%. Additionally, conversion rates on key pages grew by 15%, reflecting the impact of the redesigned layouts and improved UX.
