I’m the brand manager at Thermotron Industries, a mid-sized manufacturer of environmental test chambers and vibration systems. We’re located in Holland, Michigan, and I’m in charge of brand communications.

We hired Black Truck for their PPC services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Black Truck handles our paid advertising and search efforts. They manage our Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn ads.

We have one primary contact from their side, but three people in total are involved in the project. 

How did you come to work with Black Truck?

I had not heard about Black Truck prior to searching for potential vendors. When I contacted them and had a meeting with their team, we decided to move forward with the engagement because of their experience and knowledge.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2020, and the engagement is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our conversion rates have been on the rise. I’m 100% satisfied with their work; the team has exceeded our expectations. 

How did Black Truck perform from a project management standpoint?

We have monthly meetings with them via Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Black Truck is small and nimble; they’re a small group of 8–10 people. As a result, we’re not overcharged. On top of that, we don’t get into different layers or levels of management — we can go right to the owner, who’s also highly talented and capable. Overall, the relationship has been easy and simple. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could do a little more tasks on their own for us.
