“Our cost per acquisition was about $60 per customer. After, it dropped to about $44.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing manager at a headset company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Biznification?
We were looking to increase our number of acquisitions, but lower the cost for each one.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I had an introductory call with their two principals. Then, we gave them access to our PPC channels, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Amazon Ads. They got to see what we had been doing up to that point.
From there, they followed with recommendations with what they wanted to change, which involved keywords and bids. There was a 30-day period where we accepted all of their recommendations and gave them free rein to run those campaigns they saw fit.
At the end of that period, we reviewed the results versus our previous outcomes before they came on.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was Ryan (Founder).
How did you come to work with Biznification?
They reached out to us, and we were actually in the process of looking for a vendor to perform analysis for us.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $2,000–$4,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in January 2019, and our work is ongoing with some campaigns and content creation.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The biggest measure of success was our cost per acquisition. Before we started working together, our cost per acquisition was about $60 per customer. After, it dropped to about $44, which was a pretty significant decrease. The average spend-per-visitor also went up by $30. The total number of acquisitions didn’t change much, overall,
How did Biznification perform from a project management standpoint?
Most things were done over email and we had a couple of calls over Zoom. They always let me know where they were at in the process.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The big difference between them and a lot of other vendors was how much time they took to understand who we were as a business and who our customers are. Once they understood who we were, it made it a lot easier for them to go out and make those changes that were going to be effective for us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If anything, they could have been a bit more innovative. They did a good job of taking what we had and making it all work better, but I don’t know if we got new ideas.

Web Design for Software & Development Company
"The deliverables have met expectations."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a software & development company. We also manufacture other types of products, like sporting goods.
What challenge were you trying to address with Biznification?
Biznification has built various sites for me. We have an in-house database programming team, but their experience in frontend work is lacking.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When we work with Biznification, they come to our office, and I let them know what I need. After receiving their proposal, I let them know what works and what doesn’t. We’ve worked with them on numerous sites. One was a standard e-commerce platform that was straightforward. We also had a political apparel website that needed SEO improvements.
The length of our projects varies. Sometimes, it can take a week. My websites aren’t too intense, so the development process is relatively seamless. One of our sites has a big shopping cart, and it takes a little bit more time to download pictures.
What is the team composition?
We mainly work with Ryan (Marketing Consultant), but sometimes, we work with Jenna (COO) on collateral and design.
How did you come to work with Biznification?
They’re local, but a friend of mine knows Jenna and Ryan pretty well.
How much have you invested with them?
Overall, we’ve spent between $3,000–$4,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2018. I have two websites live with them right now.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The deliverables have met expectations.
How did Biznification perform from a project management standpoint?
They do nice work with standard sites. But the best thing about them is their responsiveness. Whenever there’s a call or question, they follow up quickly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their customer service is personable. But besides that, their team is knowledgeable about development and SEO.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If there’s an issue, they fix it right away. My sites work, and people are happy with them. I haven’t had any problems with their work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Try to get your thoughts as concise as possible before you meet with them. If you’re clear, there will be very few changes when the project is finished. I made a lot of changes on my side, but it would cause them less grief if they’re given a wishlist.
Biznification’s work saw a prominent return on investment. They helped lower the cost of each acquisition, while also increasing the profit for each one. Communicative and reliable, Biznification is a vendor that takes the extra time to understand their clients.
