IT Services for Religious Nonprofit
"I’ve never seen such fantastic service, and I’m ecstatic about how much they’ve helped our team."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a senior staff member for a religious nonprofit organization. I’ve been with the company for about 40 years.
What challenge were you trying to address with BizCare, Inc.?
We needed BizCare to provide IT support to help us navigate the changing technology landscape and keep our organization up and running.
What was the scope of their involvement?
BizCare has worked with us on many technology projects over the years. First, they helped us transition our equipment from PC to Mac. During this transition, they helped us interface the proper accounting and design software for our office staff. They’ve also identified and implemented software such as Adobe Premiere for our production department, so they can easily produce art for our website and print assets.
If you’ve been around long enough, you know that not all software plays nice in the sandbox. We had a lot of equipment that needed integration, and we’d contracted other professionals to carry out the network integration, but they failed. BizCare came in and helped us make sense of everything and put the pieces together.
BizCare has helped us purchase conversion boxes and other workaround applications. They’ve also brokered new video equipment, including Blackmagic Design cameras, which they’ve integrated with our other software.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, they enabled our systems for remote access and established a livestreaming capability for our network. We needed to install a dedicated server line from AT&T to ensure our live streaming services wouldn’t falter. BizCare collaborated with us to broker a deal with AT&T and set up Comcast as our backup line. Now, if anything were to happen to the AT&T line, we can easily switch over and maintain the integrity of the livestream.
Their secretarial staff has helped us with PR, communications, accounting, and project management; they’ve assisted with our outreach, giveaways, and community events. BizCare also interfaces with our web developer and art staff to handle the creative side of our business. This includes managing and maintaining our online presence, podcasts, and video content.
They continue to supply equipment and program it for each of our staff. If our equipment goes bad, BizCare immediately provides us with a replacement. They also help us resolve issues if one of our video platforms, like YouTube or Vimeo, goes south.
Most recently, they’ve assisted us with securely transitioning our servers to the cloud and backing them up. They’ve also set us up with dedicated support lines, so we can reach out when we have questions.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with about 15 BizCare employees, including Donald (CEO).
How did you come to work with BizCare, Inc.?
We initially found BizCare through a recommendation.
How much have you invested with them?
We invest about $4,000 monthly with BizCare; our total spend has been about $750,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve worked with BizCare since 2011, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Once we began working with BizCare, we never looked back. They’ve been excellent partners who’ve kept our business current. When we needed to enter the digital world of livestreaming, they provided us with sophisticated livestreaming capabilities, which has been huge for our business.
BizCare takes care of business and provides us with the tools we need for trustworthy computing, which is essential. They’ve enabled our staff to work efficiently from home, even if they’re on the other side of the world, which has been incredible. In this business, we can’t afford to be hacked or have servers go down; we need to be on the money, and BizCare has helped us with that.
Challenges are destined to arise with technology; it’s the nature of the beast. However, BizCare is in our boat when the waves start to hit. They take our networking issues and security breaches personally as if they were their own. It’s been nice to have triage experts in our boat. No matter what time, day or night, they’ve come on campus to help us sort things out. They’ve done a fantastic job with our network security, even as hackers have gotten more sophisticated in their techniques.
BizCare is a mighty partner. Without this partnership, our business would be dead in the water. With their help, we’ve reached a significantly larger audience with our online content. Our videos have received hits from roughly 65 countries, which is fantastic.
How did BizCare, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
The BizCare team is responsive, personable, timely, and budget conscious. They use an email ticketing service to manage our technology requests. BizCare gets back to us within 20–30 minutes at most. We also have their phone numbers, which we can call for urgent requests. They’re not only efficient, but they’re also great people.
We’ve worked with the same support staff members for 5–10 years, which is a great sign. In an industry with immense turnover, BizCare has fostered a team of highly talented engineers; they’re sharp. As their business has grown, they’ve strategically hired and retained talent.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We haven’t worked with many IT providers, so I can’t speak to the level of cost, but I can speak to the level of service and professionalism. We’ve never shopped around for other partners because BizCare has been a faithful, reliable partner. Our investment is worth every penny.
We’ve been particularly impressed with how they handled the COVID-19 pandemic. BizCare navigated us through every step of the way during a hectic time. They took it upon themselves to help us integrate our video production equipment properly when other service providers had left us out to dry. BizCare deserves a 300% review and a big thumbs up for their equipment integration process alone.
Their technical staff is at the top of their game; whenever we call them, they make us feel like we’re their only customer, which certainly isn’t the case. We can reach Donald personally; he works after hours and on weekends to meet our needs. I’ve never seen such fantastic service, and I’m ecstatic about how much they’ve helped our team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
When it comes to technology, there will always be challenges. However, BizCare has done everything a responsive partner should do when issues arise.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to hire them. I would highly recommend BizCare as a reliable company.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the manager of special projects for the Bay Area Rescue Mission, a Christian-based organization providing services to the homeless population. In my role, I manage our IT services.
What challenge were you trying to address with BizCare, Inc.?
We hired BizCare, Inc. to provide managed IT services.
Describe the scope of work in detail.
BizCare, Inc. provides quality IT tools and services to ensure we can carry out our work. Most of the time, they operate off-site but occasionally come on-site to implement our hardware, network infrastructure, and security. They provide server updates and file system maintenance; they also handle automatic updates of our customer systems. Their team also provides secure and firewalled access points for our wireless networks.
Over the last few years, our facilities have expanded to include a new 114-bed facility for women and children, and BizCare, Inc. has expanded their provided services to help facilitate our expansion. They've helped us coordinate with internet service providers.
What is the team composition?
I work directly with BizCare, Inc.'s CEO and two senior network engineers.
How did you come to work with BizCare, Inc.?
BizCare, Inc. was our existing service provider when I started my role four years ago. Our previous VP of operations and finance brought them on board. We recently renewed our contract and committed ourselves to work with them through our expansion.
What is the status of this engagement?
I'm not sure when my company started working with BizCare, Inc., but I know it was more than five years ago. I believe our ongoing partnership began around January 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They're very proactive, always looking to establish precedents and deliver quality work. BizCare, Inc. is an amazing partner. As we've moved towards more automatized operations across the business, we've been able to scale up as an organization and be more effective. Their team responds quickly to tickets and has protected us from several security issues.
How did BizCare, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
I connect regularly with BizCare, Inc.'s CEO. Their team communicates really well — we've sat down with them multiple times to discuss projects, which makes everything move smoothly. We don't use any project management tools, and all of our support tickets are opened via email to facilitate ticket tracking. Typically, we have phone calls to plan projects and have daily and monthly reports from them about the services they're providing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I've worked with many service providers, and I can honestly say that BizCare, Inc. delivers what they say they will. Their experienced team won't overpromise or overcommit. They're direct and honest about issues we may face and give us options for solving our existing problems. BizCare, Inc.'s experience has been very valuable to us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We've happy with BizCare, Inc.'s performance.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I'd advise you to take the time to discuss the problems they're looking to solve. IT has a lot of complicated issues, and it's important to take the time to realize what you're looking for.

IT Services for Affordable Housing Company

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the administrator at an affordable housing organization.
What challenge were you trying to address with BizCare, Inc?
BizCare, Inc was hired to provide updates and monitoring services for our computer system.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They monitor and update our computer system on a regular basis and troubleshoot any issues that come up. For example, last week our internet connection went down. They came and traced the problem, and replaced the part that was broken. We were up and running again in less than 24 hours.
What is the team composition?
I work with a team of three people, including Richard and Don.
How did you come to work with BizCare, Inc?
We were already working with BizCare, Inc when I started in this position, so I’m not sure. However, I think they were selected based on their punctuality and diligence.
How much have you invested with them?
We typically spend around $575 per month.
What is the status of this engagement?
I don’t know when we started working with them because they were already partnered with us when I started in September 2018. Our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’re easily available. Whenever they say a problem is fixed, it actually is. We’ve never had to wait more than a day for any issue to be resolved.
How did BizCare, Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very proactive with their monitoring. Often, they call me when they notice an issue before something ever goes wrong on our end. I get daily reports via email, and we only communicate verbally when there is an issue.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The difference between them and other vendors I’ve worked with is that they’re always reaching out to us rather than the other way around. With previous vendors, I would have to call and let them know when we were having a problem. BizCare, Inc monitors our systems so regularly that they already know when issues are arising.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I’ve had nothing but the best experience with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
There’s nothing specific you need to do to get the most out of your relationship with them. They’re on top of everything and provide excellent service.

IT Management for Manufacturing Facility
“That team really takes care of business. They’re professional, top-notch people.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a company that manufactures custom filter bags for dust collection.
What challenge were you trying to address with BizCare?
Our previous IT management provider moved to another state and wanted to work remotely. Because we preferred working with local partners, we hired BizCare to handle our IT needs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We tasked BizCare with taking our archaic computer system and rebuilding everything from the ground up. Since it was so old, we kept experience glitches on and off. We needed to upgrade.
Don (CEO) has worked his way through one process at a time, upgrading the software and making sure we had a backup to keep us protected. Now, he’s working on our phone systems before moving on to our Internet.
What is the team composition?
Don is my single point of contact, but there are others in the background who supported the process changes.
How did you come to work with BizCare?
After searching on the internet, we considered two local providers, including BizCare. The other company asked for a boatload of money, but Don countered with a presentation that was more tailored to a small business like ours. So, we went with BizCare.
How much have you invested with them?
I can’t go into detail about the costs, but I can say that Don offers his services at a fixed price that seems really fair to me. It’s a bit more than what we were paying before, but we’re getting a lot more for it, too.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
If Don hadn’t come along when he did, our computers would be down by now because they were on the verge of collapse. I tell anyone looking for IT services in the Bay Area to look at BizCare because that team really takes care of business. They’re professional, top-notch people.
How did BizCare perform from a project management standpoint?
Don has been unbelievably great about coming to meet in-person, even though it’s around a 40-minute drive for him. Beyond that, we can call him any time of the day, and he’ll have his team tackling the problem within 15 minutes. He even offers weekend service, so we don’t experience any IT interruptions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Don knows what our priorities are, which is to stay running and not have any interruptions, and he cares enough to maintain our uptime. Occasionally, we’ll go down for an hour or so, and he’ll go out to fix it.
Even now with the coronavirus, he’s still working through with a five-step plan in mind to make sure we’re protected throughout the year. We’re progressing at a speed that I’m comfortable with so that we move forward without interrupting my business operations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I wouldn’t change a thing. I once contacted Don on a Saturday to fix an issue that had nothing to do with him — it was transferring files that were questionable anyway. He still took the time to figure out the process and make sure that we were operational by Monday.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You could always find someone less expensive, but Don really offers value for your money, and you can count on him. That’s imperative when you’re a results-driven company like ours that works with high-end clients with strict demands.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the CEO of Barcelon Associates Management Corporation. We're a property management company, so we manage affordable housing for seniors in the San Francisco Bay area.
What challenge were you trying to address with BizCare?
We were looking for a vendor to help us with our daily IT needs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They oversee everything from email to security issues for our internal office and for the buildings we manage. They give us a weekly report on all the sites and all the computers they manage, so we can see if there are any problems we need to address and what websites we need to block. (There are certain websites that I don't want my employees to access during their work hours.) In addition, they do storage and recovery management and oversee a large consulting project for us.
What is the team composition?
I work directly with their owner and use their ticketing system.
How did you come to work with BizCare?
They provided consulting services to us years ago. Over time, we found that BizCare could do IT work better than our in-house team and it cost us less, so we expanded their scope of work.
How much have you invested with them?
We've spent over $200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in November 2010 and the relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They provide us with round-the-clock help when we need it, so we haven't had any security breaches and the downtime has been minimal. We feel confident that our systems are updated regularly and protected. We're also transitioning over to their telecommunications program, which is an excellent service and helps us reduce the costs.

They're very responsive and their ticketing process works very well. Also, they're great communicators and provide valuable feedback. I can access their owner directly when I need to.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They understand our business and meet all of our needs. Also, they're very proactive and stay up-to-date with security breach issues, so they know how to protect us.
