We are an E-commerce store and we are providing every household and other essential stuff online and deliver to the customer’s doorsteps. We started our online store about 3 years ago. We are a U.K. based company and we have our main branch based in London and we are successfully delivering our stuff across England. In our company, we have almost 250 employees working.

To make ourselves faster, We strongly needed an embedded software system for us, therefore, we can manage all our customer’s data, order history and keep ourselves in a loop with customers until the package is successfully delivered to them. Our major goal was to provide a package tracking system to the customers. Since they placed an order to get the delivery of a product, we wanted customers to know where the package is now. This is the functionality we needed the most. With the help of these customers, they always feel that their product is safe and on its way.

We were doing some online research to find a perfect fit moreover, with which vendor should we discuss our work and what we need the most for our online store. Their experience, use of the latest technology and the main things were, they had already worked on a similar project. That means they had an idea about what kind of strategy needed to make our project successful.

They actually like to listen to their client first. After that, they introduced us to their own ideas which sounded more likely similar to ours. In 2 weeks they gave us a local concept and told us this is how it looks and runs once it is completed. After a few times, they successfully gave us a software system which was ready to run by our admin and other employees who are working under the instruction of admin.

What was the team composition?

Our CEO didn’t want anything to lose with this project. However, a room filled with experienced people from multifarious departments come together and express their ideas on the table. They all agreed on what kind of things should be in the software. The chief project manager took in charge and delivered a final statement to the CEO. All the areas were successfully covered in the statement. Like customers data, package tracking, monthly revenue, yearly revenue, the details of every employee and most importantly how new marketing methods left the impression on new customers. All the data should be added to the software.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our new software system was successfully launched and run smoothly. The thing we needed the most is exactly running on proportion. The best thing about this software is we can look into the data of our customers who used our service even 2 years ago but never come again. It might sound weird but we can get in touch with them by providing some of our best offers. With the help of this, we got nearly 7000+ our customers who disappeared after using our product for the first time. Speaking of which, they nearly help to increase an additional income in our revenue. And we think this is the major impact this software has left on us especially on our business.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Whenever we got an idea about what kind of thing we didn’t want in the software or if the admin of Bitrix Infotech wanted a change in software. We connected through Skype and GitHub therefore, with proper communication we removed all the doubts together. In general, project management was up to date. They even completed the project before the deadline that we gave to them. How can someone work so fast & secure? Only Bitrix and their team have the answer to this question.

Obviously, their miraculous approach to the project. The way they explain the solution to your problems is so impressive. We remember that we were getting an issue about marketing and other stuff. The solution was actually required the most. Nonetheless, we contacted the Bitrix and shared our problems and they ended up giving us an agile process. We didn’t know that they are also the providers of this process. Their marketing team gave us the solution and we ended up giving the 2nd task too and they already completed it with the software development. Two things delivered at the same time. What could be more impressive?

There is nothing much needed for improvements. However, it has been 2 years since our software system runs smoothly but it kind of looks like the speed of the software is getting down day by day. We know all things should require maintenance. We hope that Bitrix helps us and make our software run better the way it was.
