Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a research analyst at The Wisdom Council. We’re focused on delivering consumer-led insight in both the investment and wealth management spaces.
What challenge were you trying to address with Bitbot studios?
We wanted to develop a survey bot for a collaborative research project. Our goal was to talk to consumers. We wanted a highly engaging tool to gather data from consumers on a plethora of different topics. We wanted the platform to be familiar, comfortable, and more accessible to users and give them an experience that was more exciting than a normal survey as well.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The goal of the project with Bitbot studios was to make a tool that was more engaging than an average online survey. Bitbot studios developed a survey bot with a chat UI. The product follows the same processes as a survey but hid that within a messaging UI. Their team made the survey more conversational and personal as if the user was speaking to a person that was interested in what they had to say.

I mainly spoke with Mike at Bitbot studios who managed the project.
How did you come to work with Bitbot studios?
We spoke to numerous vendors. We did a lot of background research on bot and AI-focused companies. After having a few phone calls and getting down into the details, I felt that Bitbot studios were the most knowledgeable on the topic. Their team offered us bespoke opportunities. The way they spoke about the bot and what they offered stood out to me.
How much have you invested with them?
Overall, we’ve spent less than $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the project in September 2019 and it’s ongoing because we still have the bot and pay a monthly fee for it.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Bitbot studios delivered a highly engaging survey bot. It looked and felt exactly as we wanted it to look and feel. It was Chat-UI based. It was quick and engaging. From what we’ve experienced, our bot’s preferred considerably more than a normal online survey. Consumers gad an improved experience using the chatbot.
How did Bitbot studios perform from a project management standpoint?
We have regular email correspondence. Their team’s very willing to answer questions. Mike was always up for phone calls if we wanted to discuss the project in more depth. They handle the relationship professionally.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their ability to adapt is impressive. When we’ve encountered any problems, they were keen to explain the technical nuances. Bitbot studios was keen to look into additional options for them to provide us. No matter the question that we asked, their team didn’t say no. They said let’s see what we can do about that. That’s something we appreciated massively.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I think they’re a great company to work with. Their team delivered on what was promised. We’ve had a good relationship.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be willing to ask as many questions as you like. Make sure to keep in regular contact with them because they’re keen to get all that they can from you to help you in the best possible way.

For what projects/services did your company hire Bitbot studios?
We had been developing a chatbot internally when our technical director left the agency. We didn't have any technical resource in-house who could pick up the work, so we reached out to Bitbot studios to help finish the development work that remained.

We wanted to keep pace with our delivery schedule and work within the budget we had been allocated before adding Bitbot studios. We needed seamless delivery to our third-party client.

We spoke to a few different vendors and Bitbot studios impressed us the most. They understood our needs and were able to quickly pick up the project and get moving.

They finished the development of the chatbot, ran a thorough QA process and made additional tweaks and changes. They also reviewed the performance of the bot and provided recommendations on how it should be updated and improved.

We worked with a few different people from Bitbot studios, but we mostly worked directly with their developer.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We finished and tested the chatbot successfully and delivered it to our client, who was pleased with the results.

I’m an e-commerce manager for Vauxhall Motors Ltd. We’re one of the UK’s largest automotive manufacturers. I oversee the UX of our online platform.
What challenge were you trying to address with Bitbot studios?
We needed a development firm to build a chatbot solution.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Bitbot studios developed a chatbot program to replace an existing lead generation form. We briefly discussed the project goals, and then they got to work. The chatbot system needed to capture our brand’s tone while providing users with detailed information. Not only did the system need to be technically sound, but it also needed to consist of a clean frontend interface. Once the program was complete, they integrated it with our website’s CRM database.
What is the team composition?
We interacted with a project manager and a lead developer. They have a large team at their disposal.
How did you come to work with Bitbot studios?
We considered multiple firms that we found through online research. Bitbot studios is a startup, so we figured they’d be able to move quickly. Their proactive approach and specialized knowledge separate them from similar firms.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around £10,000–£15,000 (approximately $13,000–$19,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
This project took place from August–December 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We used the chatbot program on a trial basis and tested against another option. While the chatbot received a greater number of bookings, the other solution generated more sales. Therefore, we never integrated the chatbot into our day-to-day operations company-wide. Bitbot studios did an excellent job creating the program; we simply found another option that performed even better.
How did Bitbot studios perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re extremely attentive and made us feel like valued clients. We’d call or email them most days, and they’re always responsive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re highly productive. We were amazed at the speed with which their team works. They’re also communicative and friendly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They used a third-party vendor to build the chatbot, and that put limitations on the project. It’d be ideal if they had their own platform and could develop custom solutions for each client.
