Do you have any statistics or metrics to track improvement from the project?
We look at the quality of the leads and the quantity of the leads. Our conversion rate is really good. The leads come in through the Internet. There's different ways the leads come through. Eric looks at all that information. I've seen a steady increase every month. When we first started, maybe 10 percent of my leads were Internet leads. Now, the Internet is actually one of my top lead sources. Easily 40 percent to 45 percent of our leads are Internet leads now.
The quality of the leads is good, too. We do a robust marketing campaign. My marketing person watches everything really close. She's very happy with the fact that the leads are increasing each month. She's thrilled with Big Oak's results.
Are you satisfied with their performance?
They'll let me know if I need to bump up our budget. They are very sensitive to my budget. He's also very sensitive to the changes going on in the market. If he thinks I need to spend more to be competitive, he'll make that recommendation. I appreciate that. I change my ad once in a while, and I'll email him, and he will get it right up.
Is there anything unique or special about Big Oak Studios that really makes them stand out compared to other business partners?
I like their honesty. They have no problem showing me analytics. I can call them, and they'll answer. They're very accessible, very hands on, and very focused on what you want. When we first started up with them, they interviewed us as well. We laid out the parameters of what we wanted to do. They're very involved.
What advice would you give to future clients of theirs?
I would sit down with them and go through your goals with them. Let them come back and present it to you. That way, you get a really good feel whether they understand what you're asking for. They were able to take the information we fed them and put together a nice package. You could see they clearly understood what we wanted. The owners are very easy to talk to. You'll be very happy working with them because they're extremely honest, and you feel comfortable that they're spending your money the way you want it spent.
Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or that you might do differently?
Not really. I think they get a bit frustrated with our scenario because they don't have any control on the SEO and organic searches. I think that impedes them a little bit. They're limited on what they can do. They can't make changes to our website. I think they could do a better job for me if they could do the whole thing.
