I’m the owner of Quill Marketing. We’re a marketing company that focuses on creating content for blogs, social media, and branding. The unique thing about us is that most of our clients are other marketing companies, so we sometimes do white label solutions.

What challenge were you trying to address with Big Fin Solutions?

We hired Big Fin Solutions to help us with SEO and web redesign work for a client.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Big Fin Solutions redesigned our client’s website and handled all of the on-site optimization needs. From there, they implemented citations, backlinks, off-page optimization, and improved content. 

How did you come to work with Big Fin Solutions?

I met them through a different project that we were both hired for. We ended up being on several phone calls together to help this client, so I saw that they were more than smoke and mirrors. I felt they actually knew what they were doing, so I hired them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $12,000 on their service. 

What is the status of this engagement?

For this project, we started working together in 2017 and wrapped that one up about a year later. However, we still use them for various projects for our clients. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our client is still delighted with the work Big Fin Solutions delivered and they’re continuously seeing results from it. 

How did Big Fin Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re good; they almost over-communicate which is great. They use Trello boards and email to keep us updated on all the different projects, so that’s worked well. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

From an SEO standpoint, they’re not smoke and mirrors—they actually get the job done and do it well. They’re very competitively priced as well. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

It doesn’t sound real to say everything has been a home-run across the board, but it’s true. Nothing comes to mind for them to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you have a clear scope going into the project. They deliver what they promise, so if you give them a scope of work, they’ll follow through on it.
