Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a music streaming app.
What challenge were you trying to address with Big Digitals?
We needed a development team to help create a mobile app for iOS and Android, as well as a website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They handled all stages of the development and design phases for the mobile app for iOS and Android, working on both the front- and backend. They also created our website, working on both the design and development of it with a focus on UX. They’re currently working on some special features for the app.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 3–4 people, including the project manager. There was a development team working on the backend, also.
How did you come to work with Big Digitals?
One of my partners recommended them to me.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in September 2018 and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Although it hasn’t been launched, I’ve been completely satisfied with their development work.
How did Big Digitals perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate on almost a daily basis via Skype, Jira or GitHub. They’re responsive and never too busy for us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re a young team, which is a good fit for our needs in this area. As far as communication, they’re experienced and great. Their team is also very client-oriented—they’re not just trying to get paid but also develop a relationship. They’re good at understanding what we want, even when we’re unable to fully express it.
