A former Umniah Telecom CEO appointed to establish the company in the Jordanian makret. Since its launch in 2005, Umniah continues to gain prominence as one of the region’s fastest-growing and most reliable telecommunications providers. As a newly launched telecom company in Jordan, we had all the challenges that could appear when entering a market. starting with garnering enough exposure to increase awareness about the company, and the advertising challenges that come with introducing a new telecom player that aims to be the game changer in the industry.

We have selected Bidaya through and equal competition RFP and they won the bidding process by having an outstanding proposal that covered a wide array of services, as well as an experienced team.

What was the team composition?

I had direct contact with the Director of Communications and Director of Events from Bidaya who in turn relayed the scope of work and requests to the Bidaya Team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The launch was an extremely successful one , Umniah managed to grow an impressive customer base and had enormous exposure around Jordan. The branding, events and communication done by Bidaya was one of the main factors that allowed for exponential adoption around the country.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

During the onboarding phase, Bidaya studied our structure and was able to develop a workflow document which served as a guideline for the dynamic between us as a client and Bidaya as our agency. This allowed for a smooth yet effective onboarding which lasted throughout the contracted period without any hiccups.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive thing about Bidaya is their wide array of services that cover each aspect of marketing, events and communications. They were a very experienced team with each being a specialist in their fields.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

I would like to see them provide audio visual , and video production services in-house rather than outsourcing them, even though their partners were great and delivered amazing videos!

We hired Bidaya to implement My Craft is My Mark’ (صنعتي بصمتي) is a three-month awareness campaign on the variety and importance of skilled crafts professions to youth in Jordan.

EFE-Jordan conducted a market assessment to assess the various public relationship agencies in Jordan and assessed them based on a scale to determine which agencies will receive a formal Request of Proposal to be considered for the tender.

Bidaya Implemented the campaign in 2 phases :

Phase 1: Preparation and Conduct Production:

• Develop final detailed communications strategy.

• Organize photo shoot for the three new sectors.

• Develop artwork, graphic designs, and social media layouts.

• Develop social media content plan and post all campaign related posts.

• Production of Radio Materials.

• Production of Hero video.

• Production of Success Stories videos relevant to occupation

Phase 2: Dissemination

• Dissemination of the Hero video on SM.

• Campaign Launch - PR Media Coverage Plan.

• Launch of the campaign digitally: social media /Digital campaign /Ad words/SEO.

• Launch of the Radio Materials.

• Website Update.

• Closing event.

I've worked closely with the account holder, Creative director, Film makers and the rest of the team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

EFE-Jordan sourcing team received around (344) calls, around 90 applications on the landing page. Taking into consideration that EFE-Jordan, usually have 100 call per month, with this campaign the team received 300 in 3 months + 344 campaign calls.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have had weekly meetings and daily emails and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The effort they put into the proposal writing phase is amazing.

The event management department were not that professional .
