BBP’s team filmed interviews with our customers, contractors, and personnel, and then they edited them for a variety of uses. Sometimes their team films on job sites. We’ve used the videos for educational purposes, and celebrations and conference.

They’ve done more than a dozen videos for our company, and we will continue to use them in the future.

What was your vendors’ project management or feedback process?

Finding BBP was a sign of complete serendipity! I am in frequent contact with our assigned producer, who promptly answers any message or call. He devised a tracking system for our projects without any prompting.

Filming at job sites can present a challenge when it comes to lighting and sound. BBP does an excellent job during the filming and editing process.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our CEO loves the content BBP produces. The videos are an excellent way to introduce our company to prospective partners. We recently showed one of our complex videos at an event, and it was extraordinarily well-received.

BBP delivers what they said they would and when they said they would. Their team communicates deadlines effectively and responds quickly when we requested edits.

We were curating the King of the Club campaign for Club WPT, our subscription-based game. We ran a promotion that allowed users to win – through a qualification process – a seat at a televised final table. Since this format differentiated from past tournaments, we needed commercials to support the digital advertising campaign.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We collaborated on storyboards for two concepts. The first featured a ‘king of the club’ displaying his poker skills; viewers would want to emulate him. The second concept was a narrative about an average player winning his way into the televised tournament.

They scripted both commercials while coordinating with our production team; I worked on music and overall direction. In the end, they produced a 15-second and 30-second cut for each commercial.

We interfaced with two individuals, our main point of contact and another resource that became hands-on during the shoot.

We achieved many of our goals, including increased subscriptions for our vertical. Although it’s unclear how those results directly correlated to the commercial assets, the campaign was definitely a success.

As a smaller agency, they provided personalized day-to-day service while delivering quality video content. We had extensive an extensive post-production process, but they never balked at our revisions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They provided comprehensive filming, and pre- and post-production services for a great price. Value per dollar spent was unusually high; spending more at another agency would’ve been inefficient.

Although their shooting and editing skills impressed us, they could’ve been more creative during pre-production. We brainstormed most of the ideas. However, their portfolio largely comprised company testimonials, which aren’t innately creative projects.
