He was exceptionally supportive and made every effort to ensure we understood and were comfortable with each implementation. His ideas and focus on optimizing our conversions has led to us having our best month ever financially.

Develop PPC strategies to increase online visibility. Defining customer profiles through research and analysis to identify acquisition opportunities. Analyze results and then optimize future campaigns to performance.

Maintain active relationships with Google account representatives to make strategic adjustments to advertising strategies and campaigns. Hands-on experience working with Google’s different ad formats Including Display, YouTube, Performance Max as well as Ad policies and compliance.

Josh is extremely thorough and detailed with his work. Also, Josh cares about your business, its noticeable. I like that they don’t chase growth like many other agencies. Quality over quantity! They value great quality of work and nurturing existing relationships. They have also been very patient with us in times when we get busy and don’t respond in timely manner. It’s been helpful knowing that they will always take good care of things.

Since this was a startup project, we don't have any previous data we can compare to, but we can speak for the results we have seen since working with Josh. Once we launched the first campaigns, we immediately began seeing results. We'll likely adjust a few parameters among the campaigns but are optimistic about our future results.

Our workflow is great. As I've mentioned before, they're highly skilled when it comes to communication and promptness.

To be completely honest, I found everything impressive. If I had to choose one single area that stood out to me more than others, I would have to go back to communication. Project management is responsive and efficient. There are no unnecessary meetings, but there's plenty of communication about the project. It's the right balance.

What challenge were you trying to address with BERK Labs, LLC?

When the COVID-19 lockdowns started, we started struggling, so we wanted to reinforce our marketing and advertising strategy.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, it was just a consulting project. BERK ran an analysis, evaluated the company, looked at our competitors, and conducted keyword research to improve our SEO. Afterward, we decided to have them run ad campaigns, which are still ongoing. They manage our Google Ads PPC campaigns and help us with other marketing strategies.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I am pretty happy with their work. The team took the time to conduct appropriate research before starting, and that shows in the results.

How did BERK Labs, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

I’ve been very satisfied with the delivery time. The campaigns launched later than expected — the initial process lasted about two weeks, but I understand why. They're delivering results, so I’m still happy. In terms of tools, we use Zoom to communicate and Google Docs to share documents.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their skills are really impressive. I’m happy I found them.

The initial information gathering process was a bit long, but it was necessary. The cost is also on the higher side, but the results make it worth it. We thought we had to run several campaigns and pay more money to get these results, but BERK has never wasted our time or money.

BERK Labs first spent time researching our industry and the competition, as well as familiarizing themselves with our products, portfolio, and branding. They then conducted multiple rounds of research and revision to identify valuable search terms and audience targeting parameters, then developed a wide variety of ad copy and assets to target those markets. They also built the campaigns for us in Google Ads and configured an Adwords dashboard for us to review and manage the campaign performance. They have also continued to monitor and manage the campaigns in an ongoing basis.

I set up a description of work on my job posting at Upwork and Josh was able to meet all of my rigorous demands. He created hundreds of advertisements and setup a testing campaign to see how the ads compared to one another in order to serve the highest performing ads more often.

Myself only. Josh has his own crew that worked very hard on this project and it was a pleasure to see the job in action.

Our ROI is up significantly from Google Ads (up 50%) and our cost per click went from an average of $15 per click to less than $5 per click which had to do with Josh's excellent optimization abilities.

Josh is a smart and effective leader in addition to his skills in ad optimization. It's hard to manage a team and he has done a good job with his team. Other people I dealt with were only individual freelancers who promised the world but couldn't help me with the same efficacy that Josh did.
