I'm a content director. We are an online platform that helps children to prepare for their graduation exams.

We wanted to add more motion and create more engagement in our online lectures.

They just fitted our budget and we liked their approach.

We started with a discovery call. Then Banano's team presented us with different versions of motion graphics they can do for our lectures. After we have chosen the best ideas, they started to work. We sent them videos, they added motion graphics.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked with a project manager Ellen. At first, we needed to make some revisions, but the more video they have done, the better they understood our vision and eventually we stop giving them any revisions at all.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We made a survey among our students, and most of them told that they like lectures with motion graphics much more than ordinary ones.

We use Zoom and email. Ellen is very polite and it is a pleasure to work with her. We have strict deadlines and they always send us everything 1-2 days before the deadline. That's cool!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Even though we didn't ask them for that, they made a research on how to present information in a better way so the students could have better results. We used their advice and, according to our survey, their solution really works.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm not sure.

I’m the head of marketing for Idea, a B2B and B2C wholesale and retail furniture company that sells to businesses and individual customers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Banano?

We hired them to make videos for our future website and social media pages.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, we had a call with a manager there who speaks both Russian and Ukrainian. We described what we needed, and they gave us samples of what they could do and what they thought we should do moving forward. After that, they conducted market research to help us to better understand what we needed to do.

We recorded footage on our phones and sent that to Banano. They helped make the scripts, scenarios, storyboards, and everything else. They made 10 videos; one of the videos was fully animated for our future website, and nine were for our social media. They also helped us figure out an online marketing strategy for the US because we mostly did everything on-site in Europe.

What is the team composition?

We mostly worked with the project manager, but we were in brief contact with the sales manager.

How did you come to work with Banano?

We found them on Clutch and we saw their good reviews. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent more than $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together between November–December 2022. We are not currently engaged, but we plan to work with them again in the future.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We are not fully prepared to post everything, but we are satisfied with the quality of their work. They were able to execute everything we envisioned. 

How did Banano perform from a project management standpoint?

They did great with the deadlines, especially during the holiday season. We typically communicated via Zoom and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have lots of knowledge about animations, marketing, and sales processes. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We were satisfied with everything they did. 

Any advice for potential customers?

Do not hesitate to work with them; we liked how they work and think others will as well. They can help you with making an effective animation.

We needed a fashionable and stylish animation video for our video marketing strategy. We didn't really know what exactly we want to do, but it must have been vibey. And although I'm a very creative person myself, I'm glad that Banano's team did everything from an idea&conceptualsation to postproduction. Our company wanted to achieve 2 things: we needed to share vibe of our company and attract new subscribers from ads

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Actually, my friend just told me about this company. For me, it was important to work with someone outside the country (because of everything what's happening around). And! It was very cool that guys from Banano have employees not only in US, but also in Europe. So they communicated with us in Ukrainian instead of English. That was convenient. Plus they worked like all day long because of the differences of time zones for different employees.

We started with a discovery meeting. We told them everything we wanted to do. Then they provided us with their mood boards, ideas and storyboards. After some revisions they started doing production. We had multiple ads that we needed to be produced and they decided to send us everything at one time. It was easier to make revisions by this way. Then they just added music and sound effects and the project was done.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked with Edil and Nikita, and the feedback progress was smooth and pleasant.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've just finished the project and just started using these animations, so there are not many things I can share for now, but our followers loved it & we've already gained 500 extra followers for our insta page (And that's exactly what we wanted to do).

As far as they spoke with me in my native language, it was very easy to communicate. People there are nice and polite, updates were frequent, they made all the revisions very carefully and in timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have employees both in Europe and US so they work all the time which is cool! We wanted to finish our project as soon as possible and had very tight deadlines, and Thankfully they managed to do everything on time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think it would be great if they used some software instead of messengers to control all the stages of a project&revisions.

I do marketing for Black Mamba Agency. We do SMM and Targeting for small and medium businesses in Europe. We specialize in Instagram, FB, VK and TikTok.

We needed an animated explainer video which we would use in the sales process

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We went through tons of websites and submitted dozens of quote forms. We ended up choosing Banano because of its affordable prices, use of their own marketing research in their job, and charismatic salesman haha. And they also proposed to do everything for us, from storyboard to voiceover.

We started with a discovery meeting. We told them about our goals and vision. After that, they did some research on how long should be this explainer, which colors should be used, what music etc. Then they made a presentation with a mood board and approximate script. Then there was a storyboard, character and environment design, animation itself, and postproduction.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with a project manager Ruslan. He was polite and attentive. We had 3 packs of revisions included for each milestone and with his questions, we ended up using only 1-2 of them. That sped up the whole process.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We used their explainer video in our sales process and it did help us to increase our average check. That was our main goal for this video.

We spoke only on zoom, which was very convenient. I don't like offline meetings. They gave us updates very frequently just in case there was a need to change something in the middle of a project.

They do marketing research to increase the effectiveness of their animations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish they could have more workers to be able to do more animations at a time. We also have a need for ads videos for targeting, and sometimes they are too overwhelmed with the number of projects
