I am the Sr. Manager of Digital Advertising & Content for ABC Fine Wine & Spirits. ABC is Florida's oldest and largest family-owned independent wine and spirits retailer with over 125 locations across the state.

For what projects/services did your company hire Bacon and Eggs Media, and what were your goals?

We were looking for a company that could help us conceptualize and create a 30-second video advertisement that would stand out against a sea of endless content. It was really important that this company had a unique sense of humor, and man did we find it!

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We sent proposals to 5 production companies and settled on Bacon and Eggs because their proposal had us laughing so hard tears were shed.  Their concept was more than funny, it was effective and memorable.

We started with an introductory call and realized it was going to be a tight turnaround time. Bacon and Eggs quickly pitched a handful of concepts and our marketing team picked our top two favorites. We were only expecting one to be executed, but B&E went above and beyond and filmed both. They even gave us extra footage to post on social media. They came up with the script, and found locations and talent. It was the most hands-off I have been on ad production and I felt like we were in good hands the whole time.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked mostly with Kia and Connor. They were extremely communicative during the entire process. We video chatted and texted pre-during and post shoot. Laughs were had. Work was efficient. The end product was perfection.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We ran our Halloween video campaign successfully on CTV with a 93% VCR and 3 million impressions.

They are extremely hands-on and responsive. They really took in all feedback and made any minimal changes work without hesitation. 

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Everything. Sometimes when hiring production companies you can run into a lot of issues with creative control and too many cooks in the kitchen. Bacon and Eggs was extremely creative but also very collaborative. They really took the time to understand who our company is and why certain topics and products took priority. They made the whole process extremely fun and incredibly efficient. Their turnaround time is also really impressive. From concept to creation, they literally took care of everything in a matter of a month. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No complaints at all. We were so happy with them and can't wait to continue the partnership.

We hired B&E to help us concept and produce social videos over the course of about two years. We've worked on multiple productions together.

How did you select this vendor?

We met with multiple agencies, and selected B&E because they best understood the goals of the brand, and had the strongest strategy for how to achieve those goals. They strike a great balance of value and production quality, and we saw that through their past work.

We have worked with them on multiple projects. Typically, we build a series of ads around a 1 or 2-day shoot. The goal is to have one core ad concept that we can then work into 4-5 other concepts that involve b-roll, product-focused advertisements, that type of thing.

After a kickoff call, they typically come with a big list of concepts for that central "campaign" ad, and then when we work from there, we build out smaller concepts that could fit into the same day/set/visual language. Post shoot, they handle post-production and deliver in every spec we need to run ads in OTT, YouTube, IG/FB, and whatever else we might need.

What was the team composition?

We work closely with everyone at B&E. They have a great cast of contractors and freelance production/creative workers, which lets them spin the team up for big shoots without having to charge big retainers or anything like that.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We still run ads from our first shoot on March 2021 on Facebook, which, if you're running ads on there currently, speaks volumes as to the quality of performance we've gotten out of them for such a duration.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Effective! We came in with a lot of our own concepts and notes, which they worked with well and augmented.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They hustle to figure out what you want to get accomplished with your creative, and then work to meet that goal. Often agencies and the brands have different goals, but with them, I feel confident they're trying to make the creative work best for the goals we laid out at the beginning of the concept.

Not so much!

Our TV CAC was great in our first year of testing and there's more room for us to further improve

We hired Bacon and Eggs for a viral video project and our goal was to create brand awareness through different social media platforms namely Facebook and Instagram.

We found bacon and eggs from google search and we chose them because of their past projects. They had a sense of humor which is exactly what we were looking for.

Started with discovery, learning about our brand and who we were. Then they created a storyboard as well as scriptwriting, with our input of course. Once we nailed that, then the filming was fairly quick. It was a very quick turnaround process. We got the final video from them in different formats within a few weeks after.

We worked with the founder Kia, as well as their amazing copywriter. Awesome people.

We ran the video made by bacon and eggs for nearly 2 years, we generated millions of revenue from it. It was a complete success all thanks to an amazing, funny, engaging storyboard that really resonated with our audience.
