I knew what my product does. I was very clear on that. What I didn't know was how to convert a product into something marketable, or relatable, or that had a voice. I needed someone to help me understand exactly how to speak to the consumer. I was in desperate need of a logo, and colors, a brand, and the voice. I needed help learning how to articulate the problem we solve, beyond just solving it. I needed to be challenged to understand how to describe what we do, and why it's important. I needed to get to know my own brand. All I had was a product, so I needed a professional marketing company to help me define the brand.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Karlee and I met several times and she was genuinely curious and interested in my project. I knew early on in our conversations that I was in the right place. The quality of her questions, the strength of her follow up questions where interesting to me in that they were thought provoking and challenged me to think deeply. In trying to answer her questions I was learning things about my product that hadn't occurred to me before. I had a realization that by answering Karlee's questions, I was also learning how to address future customers questions. So in this regard, it was so much more than what I expected. I emerged from our conversations so much better prepared to talk about the mission of our software.

Are there any areas for improvement or something b3 brand studio could have done differently?

Karlee was so positive and optimistic and determined, and our time together was helpful and inspiring, my only wish was that we had more time together! So much of Karlee's work is subjective, based on tastes and interpretations that I was worried that if there were suggestions from her that didn't immediately resonate, she might take it personal. I was totally wrong in this regard - not only did she not worry when my feedback regarding version 1 wasn't exactly what I was looking for - she did the exact opposite - she synthesized my feedback and absolutely nailed in in v2. 

The fact that they were so receptive to my feedback accelerated the building of trust between us, and that was very important to me! Aside from producing exceptional work, she is a pleasure to collaborate with. Either is rare, but to have both in one person - I consider myself incredibly lucky to have found her and her team.
