I am a senior manager for a global company of the HCM industry which just established a software engineering office in the country and wants to double the number of software developers working there within the first year.
For what projects/services did your company hire Búsquedas IT?
Our company acquired another American company with an office in Montevideo, and they intend to duplicate the local workforce within an year.
How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?
We had worked with them in the past with excellent results, and this time it has not been different.

We have weekly coordination meetings with BusquedasIT in which we review the openings, the pool of candidates, and in which profiles to set the focus for the next week. In between meetings we work with their team through emails/Slack, receive updates on candidates and coordinate interviews. The process is very dynamic and flexible, works smoothly. They also have an awesome web page in which you can see the candidate profiles, the positions they are applying to, the CVs, salary expectations, etc.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Since the start of this project it's around ten new hires which we have onboarded from BusquedasIT. They come from either Cuba or Uruguay, and all are working on our office in Uruguay.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
85% of the hired candidates have been sourced by BusquedasIT. The rest were sourced by our own talent acquisition team or internal referrals. We are also working with another recruiting agency and they have failed to provide good enough candidates until this point. Our local market is vey hot right now, and there are a lot of companies hiring. Our brand is not yet recognized locally, and it complicates things for us. BusquedasIT is doing a great job in helping us mitigate that aspect.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very efficient. Their team is very flexible and accommodating. In general any delays would come from our side of things, with BusquedasIT never becoming a bottleneck or us having to explain or clarify our needs twice to them
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They understand your needs right away, provide you with what you requested, and help you better understand the dynamic of a constantly changing market conditions. They are our partners in identifying discrepancies between what we are seeking and the conditions we are offering for the market, and help us determine any changes we might need to implement to the process, the definition of the profiles, or the offered conditions.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
At this point I cannot think of any. BusquedasIT are very flexible and adapt weel to the individual companies' recruiting processes.

I met the IT Search team through the Software Chamber and in the first contact they already transmitted a lot of knowledge of the market.

As a first step we make a definition of the profile of the position sought in some case the sector requesting the resource has participated. Then the job of publishing the offer and searching for the resource on the part of Searches IT begins.
The candidates are presented with a detailed screening and interview and go to the interview with the company and technical test. Once the resource is selected, the IT Search team sends you the detail of the proposal with the working conditions

For each search we are assigned an executive in charge of the search who monitors and updates the status with the candidates and with us,

The sw that Busquedas IT uses allows traceability in the selection processes and has been of great help

The communication with the team has been very fluid. They're using different resources: mail, watsapp and slack

The dedication and care for the candidates always keep them with feedback and communication is very fluid.

In the understanding that there is always something to improve and clarifying that it is a difficult market to have more options of candidates for searches is a point that could be of great value for the company.

As an HR Recruiter in the past I had knowledge of the consultancy services market. We choose them because of their experience in recruiting IT profiles.

- We present them our Scorecards to set the main aspects of the profiles we were looking for. - They sourced candidates and presented them to us - They did several interviews and gave us a shortlist for us to interview. - Finally they did some assesments to go deep into personality and technical aspects of the candidates. They have a software platform to do the follow up of the diferent stages of the process. It is a very friendly tool that gives agility and efficiency to the projects.

We first discussed with them the roles we need to search for, we share the job description and clarify any specific requirements. Then, they start the search, doing prescreening and interviews for candidates. Finally, they present the pre-selected candidates and we decide whether they should continue with the technical interview or should be rejected. If the technical interview goes well we proceed with our internal recruitment procedure, and we let them know if the candidate will receive an offer from our end.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
When they find excellent candidates, that finally join our team, and we confirm that they check not only the technical side but also that the candidates are a good fit with our company culture and values.

We normally use a slack channel and the communication works perfectly fine between our team and them, and we can quickly organize and catch up about the different processes.
