This was the launch of our webshop so do not have metrics to compare against, however metrics are available which we will use moving forwards.

Gordon was very knowledgable, helpful and proactive with his approach towards us. Due to our early stage startup nature, he was also very flexible towards working with us which was greatly appreciated. Email was the main form of communication to start with but as the project developed communication was migrated to various tools including Slack, Miro and ClickUp.

Communication and responsiveness from Gordon.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
A little more structure during the development of the website. Regressions happened during the itterations and there are some finer details of the website that have been glanced over. A checklist for things like making sure SEO related information was correct for PDP pages, compliance with GDPR for example.

After the onboarding process we decided on the timeline and journey for the project to optimize the outcome of our Shopify platform. From the design journey in Figma to proper launch Aztech always worked to generate a good user experience. We extended the landing page, created room for all our story telling, installed review sections, fitting rooms and optimized the checkout process to increase conversion rates.

Our customers get a clear picture of Seela as a brand and how we differentiate us on the market. We now have a site that is ready to drive traffic, a structure to optimize SEO and increase our turnover. We are still in the phase of scanning the behaviors at our site and continuous optimizations will follow.

Our teams really connected and after seeing some of their work and feeling like they really understood what we were looking for, we decided to move forward with Aztech.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and objectives. Since we run pre-order campaigns for all of our product launches, it was very important to create an easy to understand/navigate experience for our customers. We also needed to incorporate and update necessary apps for our campaigns and loyalty program.
From there, the team delivered mock-ups and wireframes for our site for approval. After a few iterations, their team designed and developed our new Shopify site.

They were super responsive to our needs. With their impressive background, we were a bit intimidated prior to starting our working relationship. But after our first meeting, we were immediately at ease. They were down-to-earth, hard-working, and talented.

I wanted to rebrand my organization to help enhance our capabilities to pitch to new potential clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Aztech worked closely with me to help generate a new brand by creating a unique web experience and our company profile, and what we offer. They assisted us in doing a more sophisticated and expansive recruitment outreach for our market.
It was a thorough process from end to end; we first talked through general ideas of what we wanted my brand to look and represent. I showed them a couple of other websites that looked similar to what I wanted, and they provided recommendations starting from there. It was an initial brainstorming session to agree on a particular design line and figure out the rest of the process.
After that, we started generating content for the site, and once we were in the same place, we started creating the nuances and web features that could help potential clients contact us easily. Towards the end of the project, we worked carefully to understand how to manage the site they created to update content because I’m not a way expert, so it was great to have them walk me through the process.

We only worked with two members of their team.
How did you come to work with Aztech?
One of their co-founders was my colleague; I knew that she was a tremendous designer, and I liked the quality of her work. I reached out to her and started talking about her company and our project. After discussing the possibilities of working together, we chose them because they aligned with my parameters in terms of timeline and budget, which made me feel comfortable and confident.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I can now make pitches to potential clients and show them my polished brand and quality website. Our main goal was to improve our business development and get more traction and more sophisticated outreach; Aztech’s work helped us immediately get contracts from large companies. Also, the feedback from our colleagues has been excellent; we could’ve got a dry and straightforward website given the nature of our industry, but we like the creativity and flair design of the product they delivered to us.
How did Aztech perform from a project management standpoint?
They were excellent; we mainly used Miro, Slack, WhatsApp, and Google Drive to share content. Their team also kept us updated with the project’s progress which helped to stick to a tight timeline and develop an intimate interaction to get in the details of what we wanted.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Design-wise, they were excellent; their quality, branding, and web development set them apart. They were a creative team willing to understand what could differentiate us from other companies, which shows in their work. Also, their project management was great; they ensured that we were aligned on the process and hitting the right deliverables within the established timelines.

I am the founder and creative director of ISAMEL, a luxury swimwear e-commerce brand.

What challenge were you trying to address with Aztech?
I needed to build my e-commerce store through Shopify, and I don’t have experience with that sort of development. I was looking for a team that could create the store to my specifications and design — it needed to be up and running in a short amount of time.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Aztech fully built the store. This included uploading all of my products, the variants, the pricing, and all of the copy that I had. They also connected the site to the payment processors that I wanted to use and made sure my site had sections for important information like sustainability, my return policy, and an “About” page. Most importantly, Aztech made sure to create the site to match my aesthetic and work within my budget.

I worked with Meghan and Gordon (Co-Founders).
How did you come to work with Aztech?
I already knew Meghan from college. She reached out to me directly once she heard from our mutual friends that I was building out a new brand. We had a discussion about a potential partnership, and I quickly decided to move forward with Aztech after our proposal call.

It’s hard to quantify my data, since we have only been open for three months. However, all of the feedback that I’ve gotten from customers has been really positive. Users think that it’s really beautiful, but also really easy to navigate — buying products in the store is completely smooth from start to finish.
How did Aztech perform from a project management standpoint?
Aztech was very attentive and responsive to my project needs. They completed the work within budget and on-schedule.
We mostly communicated via Zoom and Google Hangouts, since I don’t live close to Meghan and Gordon, and because their team is spread around.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The Aztech team was attentive, and they sweat the details of the design and development through the site launch. Any time I requested changes, they would respond right away and make the edits, even if I had contacted them late at night. I really liked that Aztech is more of a boutique agency. I didn’t have to deal with a huge team or a lot of unnecessary meetings to get my project completed.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There were a few mistakes on the backend, but that’s understandable given how quick the turnaround time for my store was. Luckily, these errors were things like the wrong inventory quantity being listed, so I was able to easily fix them myself.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Know who your go-to person is when trying to execute — Meghan is great with design, aesthetics, and overarching features, and Gordon is really the tech expert who will get everything built out. It’s more helpful to be able to reach out to the expert than to constantly send both of them the same question.
