Putting First Aid in First Place: Using Search to Save Lives with the British Red Cross
A Drum Search Award-winning campaign. Through a combination of account restructures, advanced tracking, audience strategies, and custom JS and Python scripts, we were able to drive results far exceeding targets. We drove an increase in both volume and quality of traffic to first aid pages. First Aid courses drove more revenue at a lower CPA. Whether it was urgent information, resources or training, we made sure the Red Cross was there to give it.

Soaring Sales for iCandy
By building out winter sale-specific campaigns and highlighting special offers, as well as utilising features such as search countdown customisers, we were able to drive a massive increase in year-on-year sales. Dynamic product remarketing drove a strong conversion rate by encouraging lapsed users to purchase. Optimising towards high value customers also led to an increase in average order value, contributing further to the substantial increase in overall ROI.

Worldpay - Driving more leads for less
By creating a granular account structure Ayima was able to provide high quality leads at scale. Worldpay’s data was segmented into verticals such as auto-repair, hairdressers or health & beauty. Utilising Facebook’s new Lead Generation format Ayima developed specialist creative executions for each vertical and used tailored ad copy.

Delivering against high volume, commercial keywords
In order to increase visibility in the New York marketplace, our strategy needed to iron out a number of legacy platform issues. A bespoke CMS, excess page cannibalisation, weak commercial deep-links, and a lack of Mobile friendly pages meant there was significant opportunity for improvement, but execution was key. After a content refresh, efficient page consolidation, internal linking changes, and Mobile improvements, we achieved outstanding levels of growth.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ayima, and what were your goals?
We identified an opportunity to scale our on-page SEO efforts to grow our share of voice and chose Ayima to produce a significant volume of content for our websites.
How did you select Ayima and what were the deciding factors?
We have worked with Ayima for a number of years and the quality of work has always been outstanding, as well as their understanding of our business, our customers and the market. After a competitive pitch process, Ayima were the natural choice for our copywriting project.

Ayima conducted a full crawl of our website (over 350k URLs) and filtered the list down to 20k pages with the highest potential value. We provided our brand guidelines and our tone of voice and Ayima produced 6000 pieces of content over 6 months for our team to upload.
This work was carried out in two-week sprints with batches of 500 pieces of content delivered regularly to allow us to see some return on investment before the project completed. Ayima also set up detailed reporting to allow us to see the efficacy of each batch of content over time and to report on our progress to the wider business.

We worked with the Content Design Director, the SEO Director, and our Account Manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Since the start of this project, we have grown our share of voice by up to 52% and completed in six months what our in-house team would have taken three years to complete; rapidly accelerating our SEO programme.

The project ran without delays and the communication from the Ayima team was punctual and reliable. The output of the project was tracked clearly and openly and the team was proactive in making sure the project was more and more efficient with each sprint.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The way Ayima have integrated with our business and treats our organic success as if it were their own has secured confidence across the business about the steps we are taking. This project was well planned and organised from the start and Ayima's approach to the project was instrumental in its success.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
If we were to do it again it would be good to conduct a thorough audit of the sites and the pages before starting so that we can prevent copy being written for pages that we wouldn't optimise for any reason but within the scope of the project there is nothing that I would have done differently.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a product analyst for Worldpay. I manage relationships with different suppliers.
What challenge were you trying to address with Ayima?
We needed help with selling on Amazon. Various competitors were using our name to sell their products. We also wanted to generate more revenue and increase the exposure of our products by adding them to Amazon.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We first had various discussions with Ayima regarding what the project would entail, where we talked through things like a statement of work and a contract. The team then designed the Worldpay page on Amazon. Afterward, they added all our products and took care of product identifiers, keywords, photographs, and pricing. The deliverable was getting our brand set up on Amazon and listing our products. Although they’ve finished their deliverables, they continue to help us with some background work.
What is the team composition?
We spoke with about five key people from Ayima. There were two account managers whom we spoke with from the start and were our primary contacts. Another teammate ran the project for us and added everything on Amazon. We talked to another member about paid advertising, and another one conducted the keyword research.
How did you come to work with Ayima?
We’d worked with them in the past, and they came across as very professional when we spoke about the project.
How much have you invested with them?
The project costed £14,000 (approximately $20,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from October 2020–March 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve seen some additional sales and revenue come through from Amazon. Our end goal was to protect our brand on the platform, and we did it. Ayima delivered everything we needed to fulfill our goal, and the quality of their work was excellent.
How did Ayima perform from a project management standpoint?
We worked through a roadmap where they specified delivery dates, and they met all the deadlines. Ayima was a very good company to deal with. They kept me up to speed on how the project was progressing — we had 1–2 calls per week, depending on how the project was going. We’re still in contact now, even though the project has ended because they’re still giving us support.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m impressed with their professional attitude. Ayima delivered what they promised and was very approachable and easy to deal with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have no negative comments about them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If the client has similar needs, I recommend Ayima. They have good expertise in dealing with marketing and Amazon projects.

A very well worked-through approach. Mapping of deliverables and KPIs, with a strong focus on outcomes, not just outputs. From experience this is something lesser partners try to avoid. They try to focus on what they are going to do, not what that is going to deliver for you. Not Ayima. They were very clear on the outcomes they would deliver.

A small group, with a project lead but able to call-up additional support as required.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
General feedback - we've seen some very good delivery around outcome-focussed deliverables. Ayima were confident that their planned inputs would drive our desired outcomes. Confident enough to commit to them. We're now seeing measurable delivery on those.

It's very impressive. Extremely well-organised, with fortnightly meetings, detailed spreadsheets and emails and very quick responses. We've met remotely and in person, with Ayima happy to come to us when that has been an option.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
A number of things. Ayima "got it" straight away. They understood our needs and were able to cite very relevant examples of work with other customers. They were happy to commit to outcomes, not just outputs, which showed real confidence in their own work and was essential to us. They have delivered what they said they would deliver, to time and budget. I know that sounds like just what you'd expect, but I've worked with partners who have failed to come close.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Once or twice the presentation of results could have been clearer, but when we pointed that out and asked for changes we got it straight away. The pace of work has needed adjusting, but because we weren't able to keep-up with it at our end, not the other way around.

Ayima normally provides support with the set up, delivery and report of the campaigns. They provide strategic support and benchmarking analysis in order to decide the best budget allocation, the best campaign set up and a campaign forecast.
During the delivery, they constantly monitor performance and optimise campaigns provide advice and recommendations and during and at the end of the campaign they provide details reports with important learnings and highlights.

On average 3 members of the team including the Senior Campaign Manager, the Account Director and the Campaign Manager

We are very satisfied with the results achieved with some fundraising campaigns, especially with some important emergency appeals we have been running since we work with them. We have seen very strong ROI and improvement in key metrics and KPIs like CV and CPA

They are very good with communications, always providing context and data anytime they provide advices and recommendations. They always meet deadline and they are very quick in responding to emails and messages.
