BACKGROUND

Please introduce your business and what you do there.

We're a web design agency focusing on sophisticated websites for clients in Germany. I'm the creative director of the company. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What business challenge were you trying to address with AXIOMA?

We were short on programmers and didn't want to hire more permanent staff. It's complicated to find a partner that can deliver good work in a short amount of time, but it was more cost effective than trying to handle it entirely by ourselves. 

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their involvement.

AXIOMA provides back-end PHP development for our account management system. AXIOMA developed an intranet solution in the form of a web-based application. We also created normal corporate sites for major clients using AXIOMA. We've worked on large projects using AXIOMA, including up to 20 resources during rush times.

How did you come to work with AXIOMA?

We made a search via Facebook. I participate in different developer groups and posted a message stating that we were searching for partners. I received more than 100 answers, one of them from AXIOMA. They said the right things, so we went forward. We tested around 10 developers, including AXIOMA. We gave them a small project, which they completed well. We gave AXIOMA more work, coming to collaborate tightly with them. AXIOMA is the only company we're working with at the moment.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

The total development cost with AXIOMA has been around $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We maintain an ongoing relationship with AXIOMA.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

We have been absolutely satisfied and never had major problems. Development will always be a bit tricky, but AXIOMA delivers work on time and mostly bug-free. I am very happy with them.

Our clients are happy as well. I've only received positive feedback from end users. It's the reason for continuing to work with AXIOMA.

How did AXIOMA perform from a project management standpoint?

We use JIRA for project management. It is the industry standard and definitely helped us stay on track. 

What distinguishes AXIOMA from other providers?

AXIOMA is very target-oriented. They asked the right questions and received the right answers from us. We have a serious collaboration that is aimed at understanding very complex connections. We work on intricate solutions, so the developers have to understand uncommon notions. Other developers that we've worked with in the past had problems in understanding some more complex relations as opposed to AXIOMA. We also really appreciated their pricing structure. It was presented clearly and they were willing to negotiate reasonable terms with us.
