Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the MD of Wellmi. A market leading employee & student wellbeing support company with clients worldwide.

For what projects/services did your company hire Aweb Digital, and what were your goals?

We needed a complete overhaul of our v1 software that included new apps for Apple & Android alongside a web platform. All needed to be brought into the new era of SAAS.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After inviting tenders from various firms based on a FRD document that was circulated. We interviewed various and AWEB came out the clear favourite for our board.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The project scope was vast and included initial UI/UX development alongside the creation of staging environments and feasibility testing. This was before moving into the next phase of the project utilising various technologies most notably azure cloud. 

Various aspects of the project included bringing legacy components into scope and navigating the migration of these onto new more suitable platforms.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had numerous members of the team from Aweb involved with us throughout. Including Prpject managers, developers and testers.

I would say in excess of 20 invidiuals at the peak of the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Considering we came from a VERY limited understanding ourselves with only one of our board being a director with tech experience Aweb made the journey and project an absolute dream!

We are beyond happy with the project outcome and cannot reccomend them highly enough.

In depth and thourough with multiple weekly touch points.

The communication from the team was excellent and they understood the drawbacks of working with a team of directors in the UK with little tech knwoledge prior to the project.

They continually put us at ease and worked with us to facilitate a clear pathway and project roadmap throughout.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have NEVER come across a company that actively gives as much detail and insight into the WHY behind their decision making throughout a project.

They empowered us with the data we needed, when we needed it, and let us make the decisions we needed to.

We've worked with dfevelopers before this and it was a completely different expereince.

Aweb are simply briliant!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not at this stage, we look forward to working with them again.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and CEO of LIMOR, a social audio platform that allows users and businesses to instantly record, edit, and share podcasts straight from their phones.

What challenge were you trying to address with Aweb Digital?

We needed someone to provide us with web and mobile app development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We came into the partnership with a prototype version of the platform, and Aweb Digital is helping us update and develop the frontend of the platform. They’ve helped us remove the barrier to podcast creation and have made the platform compatible with iOS and Android.

They’ve utilized Google Cloud, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and AWS as part of their tech stack, to name a few. Moreover, they’ve completely redesigned the screens of the product predominantly through Figma.

Other than that, they’re involved in our PPC campaigns, managing our Google, Facebook, and Linkedin ads.

What is the team composition?

We work with about 20 people from their team, but our main point of contact is Warren (Founder).

How did you come to work with Aweb Digital?

We came across Aweb Digital through a referral.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested about €250,000 (approximately $260,300 USD) on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in June 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our test campaign for Google Ads helped us garner huge interest in the marketplace, especially with the current demand for podcasts.

How did Aweb Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

The team is quite good at staying on budget and delivering their tasks on time. If there are any issues and delays to the project, the team moves quickly to rectify them.

We typically use JIRA and Atlassian and communicate through email, Slack, and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their operational consistency, communication skills, and developer insight.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There isn’t anything they need to improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d just advise you to be consistent when it comes to regular meetings and providing feedback on the project. Deploy a good structure around your project and be more transparent with their team.
