For more than 7 years, Avivi developers have provided us with a very wide range of custom development and maintenance services. Their list included:

• Customization of CRM entities
• Development of individual work processes
• Setting up reporting in CRM
• Increasing the performance of the system and reducing the risks of its failure

As an owner, I worked on the development of my business, created new plans and described them for implementation to the Avivi team. Data transfer to the updated version of Bitrix24 should be highlighted separately. Our previous version underwent a lot of customization, so it has not been updated since 2017. A normal update would inevitably destroy all the hard work of 6 years of cooperation. That's why we jointly developed a complex solution to migrate data to the latest version of Bitrix24.

I am in close contact with the co-founder of Avivi, Ivan. We understood and reached an agreement on the optimal model of cooperation. Our company did not hire a project manager from Avivi, as I perform these functions myself. Instead, we hire a developer, or multiple developers as needed, on a fixed-price, full-time basis.

We constantly cooperate with a qualified developer in the Bitrix framework on PHP and JS, who has been working on the project for a long time and knows all its aspects perfectly. I create tasks and control their execution. This is extremely convenient, as there is constant communication with the performer and full control of his work

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

First of all, we needed customization of standard CRM functionality. The second important task was to constantly maintain the system in working condition: we work with many clients at the same time, so even an hour of delay causes us exorbitant losses. Over time, the problem arose of transferring all the previous long-term efforts to the newer version of Bitrix24, because over the years the previous version became obsolete in moral and technical aspects.

Much of the management effectiveness lies directly with me, as I directly assign tasks to developers. But they distribute their labor resources, which more than once has made it possible to solve critical problems quickly. For example, on weekends, when even full-time employees are not supposed to work according to the terms of the contract, they manage to see a specialist to provide emergency technical support.

For almost seven years of working together, our working relationship has strengthened and grown into something more than just work. Personally, I am a demanding and persistent customer, so I appreciate the dedication with which they work in Avivi.

We use software that is practically unlimited in customization. Bitrix24 allows you to develop any ideas, so even the latest version of it can be improved for more efficient work of my employees and convenience of clients.

I am the owner of Intervision a company that installs and maintains security systems. We care about the safety of our customers, so we strive to do the work quickly and efficiently. Our company has a sales and customer service department, as well as a team for installing the systems.

We used an on-premise CRM solution from Bitrix24 that we purchased earlier. But this required us to spend extra on server support and maintenance, which was not practical for us. We wanted to work in the usual fancy Bitrix24 service, but at the same time keep all the developments from the self-hosted edition

How did you select Avivi and what were the deciding factors?

We started working with Avivi because of our experience and professionalism. Moving from the cloud to the on-premises in Bitrix24 is commonplace.

I spoke with Avivi's manager, and explained clearly the specifics of our situation. Over a period of time, she provided me with an assessment of the future project and the steps to be taken for its implementation.

We agreed on the terms and the process began. In the course of the project, certain unforeseen situations arose, when the performance of our on-premise portal Bitrix24 decreased due to an increase in the load on the server. However, the Avivi team promptly resumed work. After implementing and setting up the cloud tariff, Avivi started transferring data.

Scripts were written for this, but some parts had to be transferred manually. During a certain period of time, both of our Bitrix24 versions worked in parallel, and changes were transferred using the REST API. The Avivi team also made it possible to use our custom element in the cloud.

In the new portal, a left menu link was added, through which we entered the additional section we needed.

How many resources from the Avivi team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I was engaged in negotiations and control of the process from our side. From Aviva's side, we had a personal manager who led our project. The team consisted of one to several developers who reported on completed tasks and time spent.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Now we use the cloud version of Bitrix24, as we wanted. There is everything that was specified in the terms of reference for Avivi. In addition, several small tasks were performed during the project, which generally improved the operation of our system.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Karina was an amazing and professional person, like all of Avivis's previous and actual team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

First of all, I was pleasantly surprised that Avivi undertook to transfer data from the local version to the cloud version. Also, they did it relatively quickly, qualitatively, and for a reasonable fee.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In my opinion, everything was at a decent level.

For what projects/services did your company hire Avivi?

Our company needed an advanced quotation system in Bitrix24 CRM to calculate the price of our building products, accessories, and freight using specific data sets originally defined in an Excel sheet. This application correctly selected the appropriate loading tables with the correct data and created an invoice for a customer, all in the Bitrix24 CRM. Avivi got the job done efficiently. We also needed to migrate a database from ZOHO CRM to Bitrix24 and create a parsing system from emails to generate leads, which they also handled.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After creating a shortlist of candidates from Bitrix24's list of certified partners, we decided to go with Avivi. We were looking for someone to work on a constant basis and a company with a good reputation and advanced skills in implementing complex solutions in Bitrix24. Avivi responded very fast, gave us detailed explanations on how they are gonna solve our tasks and the prices were reasonable.

1. For the custom quotation system - The Avivi team learned the "ins and outs" of our excel defined rules. Giving them the required knowledge for calculating the cost of our building products. It was impressive how their team was able to understand the complex forms and tables and create the solution in CRM with only an Excel sheet as a guide.

2. For our email parsing application - They built a php parser that made sure our data being sent to a specific email was being stored in the CRM correctly.

We were in constant contact with the sales manager, Anastasia, she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Overall she was very prompt with her responses and managed our tasks with their team of developers quickly and efficiently

After Avivi implemented the above-defined custom modules to our CRM system: Our quotation process is now more efficient and streamlined all within our CRM and lead generation from our email has become much more organized, their system easily parsed the data sent to our email and created perfect lead cards with all the correct data in the correct fields.

The Avivi team has been quick to respond to all our inquiries and gave us a detailed response each time. Even with the time difference and certain language barriers, their team has been extremely efficient. Overall they have great communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We found it impressive how the team translated our extremely detailed excel sheet into a working Bitrix24 module.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We would have liked their development team to have added detailed comments to the code of their custom modules so that our development team could understand their use of logic easier.

We've saved thousands just by moving off our old platform. The development cost in the US would have exceeded 125K to complete what we've done already but we're well under that cost. Our clients love the ease of platform and it's intuitiveness.

We are assigned a project manager. All communications flow through that person, and they've been highly effective at building a long-term relationship.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Honesty, transparency, communication, pricing, flexibility and overall integrity level. Couldn't be happier and we're excited to have found a great long-term partner for our software project!

Possibly develop an intake form to help get client/developer on the same page quickly while helping the client get their requirements out of their head in a timely manner.

We hired Avivi to develop functionality for quickly creating additional pages on our Bitrix CMS site without involving programmers. We also needed to amend the previous site design.

We needed a simple and convenient solution for manually adding new pages to our site. This feature would be used by employees who did not have special IT knowledge. Our goal was to provide more flexibility for marketing and promotions. Since we used the site to inform our customers, it was important that the pages had a layout that was easy to understand.

Avivi was recommended by previous contractors who developed our website but could not fulfill the new task. Our former vendors said Avivi was a specialist in their field.

We collaborated on creating requirement specifications, which we modified based on Avivi’s suggestions and logistical issues. For example, their team suggested a solution where pages could be created from a predefined range of blocks and several types of templates. After they completed our main tasks, we asked them to continue helping us with SEO.

What was the team composition?

A team of developers and a designer worked on the website during the redesign. I only interact with their project manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The proposed design turned out to be incredibly comprehensive and attractive. We no longer have to set parameters manually, as everything is already taken into account within the block templates. Our employees began to spend less time filling the site with content and more on advertising and promotion. As a result, we have significantly increased the conversion of clients from the site.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Everything has gone smoothly. We discuss tasks with the manager regularly, including ways to improve website promotion. We have an active dialogue and defined deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I am impressed with their professional approach. The Avivi team not only delivered excellent work, but they also offered design options that turned out to be quite effective. Previously, we already had three sites, but none of them fully satisfied my needs.

There’s no need to improve any of the completed tasks.

I’m a property specialist at a real estate investment firm. We find upmarket properties mostly in need of rehab, acquire them, and then hold them for rentals or other purposes.

Avivi selected Bitrix24 and then implemented that CRM based on our company size, costs, and the features involved. The system automated processes in a series of lead stages. The CRM also had custom lead forms as part of the customized workflow.

We distributed 4–5 proposals. Avivi was the only respondent vendor to not include a quote in their reply, but rather a set of questions to clarify the scope. We then exchanged about 13 emails with them before discussing price. Avivi took the time to understand our business needs and ultimately provided an estimate at a fraction of the cost compared to other agencies.

We spent around $2,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement lasted two weeks in March 2019. We have emailed Avivi post-implementation with any technical issues or questions.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They successfully delivered the framework we wanted. Automated processes have saved each internal teammate 20–30 minutes per day. We’re able to check duplicate leads and track each other’s work with higher efficiency.

How did Avivi perform from a project management standpoint?

The team sent daily logs that detailed work completed that day. We mostly communicated via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team was highly responsive to all of our questions.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we appreciated the team’s dedication and transparency. Avivi accommodated the time zone difference, often responding to emails at midnight.

Clients should know what they want because Avivi will be interested in thinking through the process before starting work.

Their automated processes alone have saved us from having to hire half a dozen extra staff members, so that’s been more than worth the investment. Avivi’s changes have also helped us quite a bit with schedule management, which is a major priority for us.

They provide strong support. Anytime I need something, they’re there for me, even with the large time difference.  We typically communicate via Skype, which is useful for quick clarifications or situations where we can’t put an issue in writing. Because they customized Bitrix to meet our needs, we no longer have to rely on other software systems (i.e. ZenDesk, Salesforce) or separate project management tools.

We are an insurance company for mobile and domestic devices in the household. We also cover bikes and e-bikes. I work in process management.

What challenge were you trying to address with Avivi?

Our subsidiary has already been using and testing Bitrix for 2 years. Due to the good experience we’ve had, a member of the executive board decided to establish an intranet system within the entire company. Due to special security requirements and a lot of restrictions, we were unfortunately not allowed to use some of the functions Bitrix provides. We were looking for developers here in Germany, but nobody could help us with our specific and complex requirements. Other companies told us what we wanted was not possible or their service was way too expensive without the guarantee it would work in the way we needed. We tried to develop a lot by ourselves, but we could not handle the rest due to the complexity and lack of time.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We handed parts of the project off to Avivi. Avivi adapted templates and functions while taking into account our IT security requirements. We adapted all of our old intranet content into Bitrix. They also changed some standard features as needed and improved usability.

How did you come to work with Avivi?

We tried to develop on our own but faced some complex issues that we could not handle. Some of the agencies here in Germany that claimed to be Bitrix partners couldn’t solve those problems, either. So, we continued searching for partners on the Internet with different keywords until we found Avivi. Avivi seemed to have experience and a good number of developers. They seemed professional to us.

How much have you invested with Avivi?

We try to keep a good financial balance. There are just 2 of us on the project, myself and one more developer.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started in September 2015 and we plan to launch in January 2017.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t launched yet, but we have positive feelings about the implementation and the usage by many of our staff members. We will use the intranet to spread relevant information to users and have transparency in our communications.

What did you find most impressive about Avivi?

We are working a lot with different young agencies. What we welcome is the flexibility, fast accessibility, and interest in our project. They are available even on weekends. That is what Avivi represents. They also deal with our requirements and suggest better solutions. Avivi’s team gives us status updates so we work quite transparently.

Are there any areas Avivi could improve?

Sometimes it seems that things become overcomplicated. Maybe the misunderstanding is due to the language barrier.
