We've saved thousands just by moving off our old platform. The development cost in the US would have exceeded 125K to complete what we've done already but we're well under that cost. Our clients love the ease of platform and it's intuitiveness.

We are assigned a project manager. All communications flow through that person, and they've been highly effective at building a long-term relationship.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Honesty, transparency, communication, pricing, flexibility and overall integrity level. Couldn't be happier and we're excited to have found a great long-term partner for our software project!

Our goal was to provide more flexibility for marketing and promotions. Since we used the site to inform our customers, it was important that the pages had a layout that was easy to understand.

How did you select this vendor?

Avivi was recommended by previous contractors who developed our website but could not fulfill the new task. Our former vendors said Avivi was a specialist in their field.

We collaborated on creating requirement specifications, which we modified based on Avivi’s suggestions and logistical issues. For example, their team suggested a solution where pages could be created from a predefined range of blocks and several types of templates. After they completed our main tasks, we asked them to continue helping us with SEO.

A team of developers and a designer worked on the website during the redesign. I only interact with their project manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The proposed design turned out to be incredibly comprehensive and attractive. We no longer have to set parameters manually, as everything is already taken into account within the block templates. Our employees began to spend less time filling the site with content and more on advertising and promotion. As a result, we have significantly increased the conversion of clients from the site.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Everything has gone smoothly. We discuss tasks with the manager regularly, including ways to improve website promotion. We have an active dialogue and defined deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I am impressed with their professional approach. The Avivi team not only delivered excellent work, but they also offered design options that turned out to be quite effective. Previously, we already had three sites, but none of them fully satisfied my needs.

We distributed 4–5 proposals. Avivi was the only respondent vendor to not include a quote in their reply, but rather a set of questions to clarify the scope. We then exchanged about 13 emails with them before discussing price. Avivi took the time to understand our business needs and ultimately provided an estimate at a fraction of the cost compared to other agencies.

We spent around $2,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement lasted two weeks in March 2019. We have emailed Avivi post-implementation with any technical issues or questions.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They successfully delivered the framework we wanted. Automated processes have saved each internal teammate 20–30 minutes per day. We’re able to check duplicate leads and track each other’s work with higher efficiency.

The team sent daily logs that detailed work completed that day. We mostly communicated via email.

What challenge were you trying to address with Avivi?

Our subsidiary has already been using and testing Bitrix for 2 years. Due to the good experience we’ve had, a member of the executive board decided to establish an intranet system within the entire company. Due to special security requirements and a lot of restrictions, we were unfortunately not allowed to use some of the functions Bitrix provides. We were looking for developers here in Germany, but nobody could help us with our specific and complex requirements. Other companies told us what we wanted was not possible or their service was way too expensive without the guarantee it would work in the way we needed. We tried to develop a lot by ourselves, but we could not handle the rest due to the complexity and lack of time.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We handed parts of the project off to Avivi. Avivi adapted templates and functions while taking into account our IT security requirements. We adapted all of our old intranet content into Bitrix. They also changed some standard features as needed and improved usability.

How did you come to work with Avivi?

We tried to develop on our own but faced some complex issues that we could not handle. Some of the agencies here in Germany that claimed to be Bitrix partners couldn’t solve those problems, either. So, we continued searching for partners on the Internet with different keywords until we found Avivi. Avivi seemed to have experience and a good number of developers. They seemed professional to us.

How much have you invested with Avivi?

We try to keep a good financial balance. There are just 2 of us on the project, myself and one more developer.

We started in September 2015 and we plan to launch in January 2017.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t launched yet, but we have positive feelings about the implementation and the usage by many of our staff members. We will use the intranet to spread relevant information to users and have transparency in our communications.

We are working a lot with different young agencies. What we welcome is the flexibility, fast accessibility, and interest in our project. They are available even on weekends. That is what Avivi represents. They also deal with our requirements and suggest better solutions. Avivi’s team gives us status updates so we work quite transparently.

Sometimes it seems that things become overcomplicated. Maybe the misunderstanding is due to the language barrier.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired them to write an API [application program interface] that would connect our form with Bitrix24 and pull the data from the web page to Bitrix24. That information is further used for validating the customer prospects, and following up and just keeping them in the loop. It's a general inquiry form. It usually has personal information and a few questions about their requirements, what they're looking for, what type of railings they need, whether for inside or outside use, etc. Roughly ten questions; no more than that.

How did you come to work with Avivi?

I found them on Upwork. I was looking for a specific geographic area, and they responded to my inquiry. They were one of the first. They were adequate in responses, and that's the reason for my decision to hire them.

It was about $600.

What is the status of this engagement?

It lasted probably two weeks. If we have similar work in the future, I will hire them again.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Before, we were receiving the form [on the website] and then I would manually put it into the CRM [customer relationship management] with copy and paste. Now it's done automatically. Every lead goes into our CRM automatically. The leads are better managed, and less time is spent on filtering through the new inquiries.

How did Avivi perform from a project management standpoint?

It was helpful in terms of the speed of the feedback. If I wanted feedback, they would respond within an hour or under. Other freelancers usually respond within 12 hours.

What did you find most impressive about Avivi?

They get the job done especially well. They didn't try to force something that they're experts in, and they completed the job. I would describe them as professionals in that regard.

Not really. I can't think of anything.
