I’m the co-founder and CEO of a mobile app startup. The app helps users navigate the college application process.

What challenges were you trying to address with Authority Partners?

We wanted to outsource the development of our mobile application.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They started from scratch and built a native application. They worked with our CTO daily to execute this. The app is for iOS and Android. 

We wanted to create an app that took information from users and curated an experience relevant to each individual by providing guidance and expertise.  

What is the team composition?

We worked with a dedicated project manager, but there was a sizable team of developers working on the development. 

How did you come to work with Authority Partners?

We liked that they thought about the project in terms of our long-term goals. They also thought about what users would want. 

How much have you invested in them?

I spent approximately $100,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2020, and the engagement is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They delivered a functioning app with all of the features we needed. The app has a strong backend infrastructure that will allow us to scale up. It was a fantastic process. They’re professional, attentive to detail, and prompt in their delivery. 

How did Authority Partners perform from a project management standpoint?

Our CTO had daily stand up calls with them in the morning and evening. Everything was completed on time. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re forward-thinking and care about their clients’ long-term success. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any negative feedback or room for improvement. It’s been a pleasure working with them. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

Leverage their experience in building products by asking for their input on features and processes. They have a wealth of experience and knowledge.
