Platform UI/UX Design for Performance Marketing Company
“I didn’t have any headaches communicating with Aumbre.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CTO and co-founder of The Qrious Box, a marketing company. We deal with clients trying to scale up their products using performance marketing. Our team has a technology arm where we focus more on R&D. Moreover, we consult with startups who don’t have efficient funding or technical know-how to scale up or make their prototype or proof of concept a reality.
What challenge were you trying to address with Aumbre?
We had a platform handled by an entire development team, but we needed to cater it to a national level. Our company didn’t have sufficient resources in-house for the UI/UX of the platform. As a result, we sought the help of Aumbre.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Aumbre handled the design of the prototype using Figma. They designed the user flow and UI of the platform. For context, we wanted to cater to at least 15 states throughout the country, and we had to resolve the design philosophy behind the platform. Given that, Aumbre suggested creating clusters just for the UI. They said that the UI itself could be completely dynamic to cater to different parts of the country.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was their founder, though I was also in contact with their designers.
How did you come to work with Aumbre?
I heard about Aumbre from a couple of friends. I liked some of the work they had in their portfolio, too.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent over $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement lasted from July–October 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The design that Aumbre showcased was minimal and clean. It wasn’t cluttered, and I liked it a lot. It solved my roadblock at that point, so I was happy with the results.
How did Aumbre perform from a project management standpoint?
I had a pleasant experience when it came to managing the project. I didn’t have any headaches communicating with Aumbre. The founder used to travel here, so it was easy for me to communicate with him in person.
Moreover, they had an elaborate onboarding process, which was initially a little hectic. Later on, when the requests and volume of iterations increased from our side, the process paid off. Most of our review meetings were done on Notion; we also used Trello for project management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The platform’s entire design stood out to me in the end.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be nice if Aumbre had multi-faceted pricing.
