Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a tech startup in the business of online education. I produce video courses that customers can buy.
What challenge were you trying to address with AtliQ Technologies?
I wanted to build my own platform where I could host my video courses. Initially, I thought of hosting my courses on third-party websites but realized having my own platform would save me those fees.
What was the scope of their involvement?
AtliQ Technologies has built my platform and has provided me with end-to-end solutions. First, I gave them my ideas, and they created mock-ups. Then, they built the entire portal from scratch using Laravel, Node.js, PHP, React, and MySQL for the database. The team has integrated payment gateways like PayPal and Stripe. They've also used a learning management system (LMS), Vimeo for video hosting, and Python and Power BI for data analytics.
Currently, they offer maintenance and hosting services for my website. The platform's first version is still in its maintenance phase, so they help me with bugs or small change requests. We're also working on the next version, for which they're revamping the entire platform using a better LMS system and integrating referral systems for the existing core students.
Additionally, AtliQ Technologies provides PPC, digital marketing, video production, and software development services. They're also working on a mobile app.
What is the team composition?
The team has close to 10 people. An engineering manager is my main point of contact, and he has 4–5 engineers working under him. I also work with a video production person who has three video editors under her. Additionally, the team has 2–3 digital marketing specialists, a UX designer, and a product manager, who has helped with all the product ideas.
How did you come to work with AtliQ Technologies?
They were a referral.
How much have you invested with them?
We've spent around $35,000–$42,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around January 2022, our platform was launched in May 2022, and the partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I'm extremely happy with everything AtliQ Technologies has built. I've launched two courses since the platform went live, and I'm seeing a lot of onboarding. The simple design and the various calls to action they suggested have tremendously increased my traffic and engagement.
How did AtliQ Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
They meet deadlines and stay on budget. We use GitHub, GitLab, and Notion for project management and to communicate issues, feedback, and future enhancements. Additionally, we use email and WhatsApp.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I appreciate that AtliQ Technologies doesn't just do things as we direct them; they take ownership of the entire initiative and work as if they're the product owner. Moreover, they give us the right suggestions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We initially had some issues with the PPC campaigns, but they've since corrected those. Currently, everything is perfect.
Any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to be clear with your expectation and business goals.

I am the owner of Regal Systems & Services. My company sells computers, computer accessories and provide maintenance and services for the same.
For what projects/services did your company hire AtliQ Technologies, and what were your goals?
We were searching for a software which can take care of our lead management and service calls from a very long time. As a result, we hired AtliQ to develop a product that could handle our needs. Our goal was to track our leads and service calls efficiently and track employee productivity on the same time. We also wanted to build employee reward program. AtliQ helped us envision that feature to an extent that even we didn't think of. We also wanted to build an app for the same system so that employees can use it on the go.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found them through a referral from a very good friend and considered them along with few other vendors. We needed a partner who can understand our needs and give us a appropriate solution, not just a software. We made the correct choice with AtliQ.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We wanted to build a mobile app and a web portal to manage leads, service calls and employee productivity. AtliQ took care of all of these in their Engineering Process. We started with requirement analysis and brainstorm sessions where AtliQ Product Manager helped us come up with a proper idea of what we are aiming to build. This gave us clarity and confidence about execution of the project.
Once we locked down the requirements, AtliQ gave us a pricing which we agreed too. They then designed workflows and design mock-ups. Once we approved the designs, they started the development. They were giving us a chance to review the project into each milestone (one milestone was 4 week sprint). They were prompt on the feedback and were always eager to empower us to make a better product. They built the app in React Native and web portal using NodeJS and ReactJS combination.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There were total 5 team members:
- 1 Product Manager
- 1 UI/UX Designer
- 3 Software Engineers.
I was in contact with the Product Manager for the biweekly progress updates and with the team for the monthly reviews.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We were able to automate most of the processes we follow and which allowed them to free up and focus more on tasks which generate higher revenue. The Employee Reward Program that we built with them also helped us get to a place where employees can track and get rewarded fairly with no bias. Due to efficient data tracking, and generating data points for productivity and rewarding employees for their good work, there was a clear increase in productivity, revenues and profit due to the product we built. We have decided to continue working with them to maintain the solution and even some updates as we need that in future.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Project management style was great and we had not face any problem till deployment. The team was flexible and we were able to communicate via call, chat, and email. For the development purpose they were using GitLab.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They ask a lot of questions. In the beginning it felt like they were interviewing me but I realized by the time project was completed that it was all for the greater good. The questions allowed them to become somewhat of a Domain Expert that helped them to provide me with a good product. They gave me a business solution, not a software product.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing that I could think of, they have by far surpassed my expectations.

I run a youtube channel called codebasics where I teach programming, data science etc. I post coding videos and provide career guidance to people through my youtube channel.
For what projects/services did your company hire AtliQ Technologies, and what were your goals?
To grow my channel I needed a youtube account manager who can schedule posting my videos, adding tags to videos to increase search rank, prepare thumbnails etc. My goal was to offload some of the routine work to someone else so that I can focus more on content creation.
I also wanted to increase my reach in data science community for which I wanted to run some paid ad campaigns on facebook, youtube and instagram.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
AtliQ came through a reference. I looked at their work and cost and it suited my needs.

I started offloading small amount of work to them such as preparing thumbnails for my videos, adding tags, general youtube account management etc. I loved their work and approach hence I decided to hire them as my full fledge digital marketing agency.
They helped me increase engagement with my viewers by running code challenges at regular intervals where prices were given to winners. This took my viewers engagement to a next level. Then they helped me become active on Facebook, Instagram a well where I would shoot few seconds reel video and they take care of post processing, posting it on Instagram etc.
They also ran and optimized ad campaigns and helped me spend my ad money in an optimal way. I saw a huge spike in my subscribers growth due to these various strategies. It took me 4 years to gain my first 100k subscribers but after taking services from AtliQ I was able to gain another 200k subscribers in only one year.

The digital marketing stratergies on youtube, instagram and facebook helped me gain 200k additional subscribers in one year. Previously it took me 4 years to gain 100k subscribers. My youtube ad revenues grew 10X due to growth in views and engagement.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We used Asana for task allocation. Also we had a weekly call to strategies. Folks at AtliQ were also available on whatsapp whenever I needed instant communication.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They are a one point contact for thumbnail design, infographics, running ad campaigns to strategizing ideas for viewer engagement such as running code challenges. Also folks at AtliQ are smart and I don't have to spend much time explaining them what I want from them.
In fact many times they come up with novel ideas such as determining topic list for my next viral video etc. I like this sense of ownership and interest that they take in my channel growth.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
On few occasions the thumbnails that they designed were getting little monotonous and I had to put some effort in explaining them that we need to come up with some different cool designs but other than that I am pretty happy and don't have any further suggestion for improvements.

We needed help with custom software development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They help us develop our digital automation process. It’s a task management application for processes that can be automated with different components like task forms, requests, tickets, how a ticket gets turned into a task for someone else and how a system gets alerted, etc. Some of these complexities we worked along with them are successful.
One of the key deliverables was on the UI/UX front. It’s not only software development. I leave it to them to decide what platforms they want to use. They do their work on Python.

The majority of the team is still fresh amateurs. Though they’ve grown quite significantly, this means they need more experienced people who handle bigger projects, but I’m confident they will.

Build up the right communication channel and expectations before doing a project. When you’re doing projects with different milestones, make sure you communicate. Be descriptive and detailed.
