For what projects/services did your company hire Async Labs?

Async Labs created ebooks and designed two landing pages for TDA.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to attract visitors and convert them into leads for TDA.

How did you select Async Labs?

We published the project on the TDA marketplace and Async Labs was one of the agencies that pitched for the project.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

"There are different ways to generate leads, but on social channels, free and educational content with truly valuable information is something you need to give to potential leads. To generate leads we created ebooks and designed two landing pages. Our starting point was the audience for which we needed to create content. They are not top-level people in the company, so we are not speaking to the owners of agencies and companies, but a level below. We needed to create content for people in companies that are in a leadership position and are trusted by the owners who are waiting for their ideas. Prospective readers have to actually download the ebook from the landing page, otherwise, all effort is wasted. This is the reason why we designed two versions of the landing page with a clear call to action button to download ebooks, and TDA needed them for A/B testing to see which one is performing better."

What was the team composition?

We worked primarily with one writer and one designer at Async Labs to create these ebooks and landing pages.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Async Labs came up with three topics for ebooks and created customized CTA titles for the target audiences. They have created original content and modern design for ebooks, both made inhouse by Async Labs.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The Async Labs team took the time to understand our needs and it showed. They acted as true partners.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They really went the extra mile to make sure their ebooks fit our brand aesthetic. Additionally, they also made sure that it worked well with our other offerings.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No complaints. We were quite pleased with the deliverables.

Please describe your company and your position there.

CEO- Marko Čumbrek Founded 2007 in Dubrovnik with the sole purpose of creating the most sophisticated software applications for business purposes.

• Was the owner of Casa Pariurilor until 2014, a company with over 650 betting stores, 1500 employees and over 135 million Euros of revenue per year  
• While software development is the primary focus of the company, the company owner has expanded his business to buying, selling and building luxurious real estate.
• Has formed a team of experts for programming, software development and design with office branches in Split, Zagreb and Bucharest. Provides software and betting games for big companies such as Hattrick, Casa Pariurilor...

Some of the more distinguished projects are Gestiune the asset tracking system, Sport and Lottery betting application and Dog racing application.

One of the more bigger successes involve a completely automated system for gathering and processing lottery results. 2014 marks the start of the biggest project, Bizar - The system for internal communication within a company and business knowledge management.

For what projects/services did your company hire Async Labs?

We hired them for web, android and iOS development. They were working (and still are) on a project management and collaboration tool that helps teams to work easier on various projects.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to reach a working version of the app with which we could start distributing the platforms and service to different companies all over the world.

How did you select this vendor?

It was through a recommendation of one of my friends for whom they were working on one project.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They took over the existing project that was full of bugs and issues and made it stable while also implementing many other features that we were not able to do alone. They took over android and iOS apps and applied a much more modern look and solved all critical issues that we had with those apps.

In regards to the web app they did not work on the backend part but they did rewrite all our frontend modules and gave the web app a new modern look in the same regards as the mobile apps.

What was the team composition?

They provided 3 iOS developers, 1 android developer and 1 frontend developer that were working on our project for one year.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

After 5 years of developing the app inside our company (inhouse) we saw that we are not moving and we still don’t have the app ready for market. After working with them for a year, the app was revamped, polished, and prepared for market.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

It was really effective. I guess is the key factor great organization structure and experience that they have. Our inhouse team was never so effective. We had (and still have) direct communication with their CEO so we didn’t stuck in administration and process as a person in charge for us was a director.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their work ethic and speed in development has been great compared to our inhouse development team. We never worked with a company like that.

Are there any areas for improvement?

At this moment I can’t think of any. They pursued all our arrangements diligently.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

It's still too early. We're in a prelaunch phase.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

They prioritize teamwork that's accessible to everybody involved in the project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They can cover all aspects of project development (web, mobile, design, marketing...). Also, they anticipate how the project will evolve, and according to that, they'll adjust their project development, so we don't lose time in the future.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I never had any issues with the agency.

I’m the CEO of Odee Cryptocurrency; we’re a cryptocurrency company based in Estonia.

What challenge were you trying to address with Async Labs?

We needed a partner to build our company’s website. We started the project with a different vendor, but the collaboration didn’t work.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Based on our vision, Async Labs developed our website with state-of-the-art blockchain technology. The platform is complicated as the exchange function was centralized in the frontend, which their team built using React.js. We also had a designer who supported Async Labs’ efforts. We’re currently trying to attract more users to the test site in the next couple of weeks to examine any bugs or errors. In the future, we plan to engage Async Labs to build an iOS and Android app for us.

What is the team composition?

We’ve collaborated with four Async Labs’ teammates including a project manager and three developers.

How did you come to work with Async Labs?

I met their team during a blockchain conference.

How much have you invested in them?

Thus far, we’ve spent around €50,000 (approximately $55,800 USD) with Async Labs to build the website.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began the project in November 2018, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re happy with their work. Live and in a test phase, we’re hoping to launch the website soon.

How did Async Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated through a designated Telegram channel. Async Labs has been the best company to work with, and I’ve collaborated with various companies over the past 12 years.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our collaboration has been perfect. Expectations have been clear. They’ve reported on every project development, which has provided our team with detailed knowledge of their efforts; we’ve always known exactly what they’re working on. The project has progressed quickly given their team’s efficiency; Async Labs gets results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think anything could be better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a project manager on their side as it makes collaboration more efficient and communication more transparent.

For what projects/services did your company hire Async Labs?

We engaged Async Labs to market our prelaunch product efforts.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to increase awareness of our startup and our main platform. We specifically wanted to position ourselves advantageously for upcoming conferences in our industry.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We looked for companies with services that matched our needs. We conducted several interviews with vendors and talked with people in the industry whose judgment we trusted. After multiple conversations with Async Labs, we found that we had mutual connections and that their team brought a human touch and value to execution. As a result, we chose Async Labs to do this project.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Async Labs worked on our social network coverage. Their team handled day-to-day and hour-to-hour management of our Instagram and Facebook accounts. They also created several plans for implementation with detailed ads expenditure and campaign goals for each conference we were targeting.

What was the team composition?

We worked with four people: a copywriter, a traffic manager, a project manager, and a designer. The size remained consistent over time.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our followers increased on each social network page. Our onsite communication between team members and potential clients also grew as a result of our campaigns. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Async Labs ran a fluid and natural collaboration from start to finish. We utilized Slack and WhatsApp to communicate more easily on time-sensitive campaigns during specific conferences.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team provided a personal touch to their work. We felt like Async Labs was a part of our company. They also delivered to the letter of our requirements, but that level of personability made the difference for us.

Are there any areas for improvement?

While working together, we experienced some nuances that we immediately resolved. We look forward to working with Async Labs on our next project after our product fully launches.
