Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m CEO of Askep LLC. We created an IT solution for medical clinics.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with WebDreamLab?

We only have managers and salespeople in-house and needed a development team for our medical solution.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

This special medical solution is a CRM for clinics. It allows patients to make an appointment with a doctor online. Working with big data, it gathers statistical information about patients and from general medical CRM systems. We sell it to medical clinics in Ukraine, and next year we’re going abroad.

They built it all from scratch. They did all the design, layout, coding, server management, and testing. They did everything.

What is the team composition?

There were approximately 10 people working on this project.

How did you come to work with WebDreamLab?

We explored a lot of companies. We were looking for a company with more than 10 years’ experience in the market. Some guys we know did some work with them a few years ago and were satisfied. They recommended them to us.

How much have you invested with them?

In October, it was near $35,000. We’re starting the second milestone that will be near $20,000, which will be finished at the end of January.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2017, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The money we made from the first clinic that bought our solution is being used to pay for the second milestone to add an additional function. It works well. It was a success. I’m satisfied.

How did WebDreamLab perform from a project management standpoint?

They were able to write all the full technical requirements of how it should work. They gave us recommendations for improvements. They were very helpful. We used Worksection where we could clearly see what tasks were being done and how much time was being spent and add comments to each task, etc. In the beginning, we had meetings every day for 2–3 weeks. Then, we had weekly meetings to talk about what needed to be done the following week.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It was the first time everything was done on time. In our past experience with outsourcing solutions, they were always late. This was very cool because we can plan our project and know that it will be on time.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be better if they increased the size of their team. When we want to add a lot of things at once, they can’t do it because they only have 100 or so people. Sometimes we have to wait 1–2 weeks until they can get a few people.
