CORE Terapija branding
CORE TERAPIJA is a modern and versatile fitness and wellness studio located in the historical center of Riga. It is also very different from the everyday concept of a "sports club".
For CORE TERAPIJA, we have developed all kinds of visual design – from brand logo, visual identity and graphic design to interior design elements, clerical material design and website design with navigation elements.
The graphic identity of the brand in the logo is characterized by a circle. In our opinion, it is exactly the case when simple and ascetic forms would best convey the brand's idea of well-being and people as the focus of attention.
The brand's colors refer to the classic elements of the Western world – water, fire, earth and air. We have included these colors in the color transitions, which symbolize fluidity and peace. Color transitions are one of the key elements of a brand's visual communication. The second key element is patterns that are aesthetically pleasing and create dynamism, reminding you that CORE TERAPIJA guides people in their work with body for both physical and emotional well-being. The CORE TERAPIJA logo is used in both digital and print environments as well as indoors to emphasize the brand's visual identity in an elegant way.

Melomaniaki is a music trivia game founded by me and my brother. It started as a party game for our friends, but we decided to go public in 2016. Since then, the game takes place multiple times a week in the bars of Riga, though it has shifted to online presence during the pandemic, totalling around 1000 players.
For what projects/services did your company hire Asteroid?
As the game was getting more popular, the initial self-made design was growing insufficient and felt outdated. The time off we were forced to take because of the pandemic seemed like an appropriate moment to create a new identity and to gain a professional perspective on our brand.
What were your goals for this project?
The main goal of the rebrand was to create a fresh look for our game that not only engages our regular players, but also attracts newcomers. It was essential to future-proof the design for possible adjustments in the game organization system.
How did you select Asteroid?
We browsed the web for agencies that seemed to be a good fit for the job and a familiar name popped up. After doing some cross checking, we realized that the team of Asteroid regularly participates in our trivia. The fact that they already understand the game and can give us an insight from the player's point of view seemed valuable. After checking their portfolio, we were sure that Asteroid would be a good fit.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We started out with an introductory meeting that was supplemented by a discussion on some ideas and concepts the Asteroid team already had on mind. After three weeks, Asteroid shared a brand analysis and invited us to take a look at the first visuals, giving us an overall feeling of the new brand. The visual materials they offered helped us to give a more detailed feedback on the initial ideas ensuring a smooth continuation of the project. They also made sure that we understand the new design and its elements which helped during the implementation process.
What was the team composition?
The main communication channel was our project manager who was accompanied by the assigned designer at later stages. When attending meetings, the whole team seemed to be aware of the project, apparently due to their involvement in the creative decision making.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Since the COVID-19 pandemic struck in-between, it is impossible to gather reliable data, but after the launch of the new brand identity, we did see a 70% increase in our social media followers over the last year.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We had an ongoing communication with the project manager, who always kept us updated and was ready to discuss the project at any time. The team was not hesitant to adapt the communication platforms convenient to us – a small but pleasant detail.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Firstly, although the Asteroid team plays the trivia themselves, I was still amazed by the depth of their involvement and interest both in the project and subject in general. Secondly, I was surprised by their vast skill set: no ideas, either theirs or ours, were sacrificed because of the lack of proficiency. We were especially impressed with the fact that Asteroid created our own typeface.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Due to the game specifics, the project had to be tweaked a little after the launch, but the team was quick to deal with it.

We are having regular project follow-up meeting both digital and physical. In case of all ongoing matters we feel strong support from and easy access to key management of Asteroid.

We found a 'one-stop-shop' solution for all our marketing and communication needs, which makes it very convenient and effective for us.

I feel that if they keep up the same motivation, drive and passion for their clients then all challenges can be overcome and they can stay up to date in all solutions they offer to their clients in the quickly changing world of marketing and communication.

I am a Software Product owner at one of the most prominent web development, SEO & E-commerce agencies in Miami.
We develop websites, platforms, mobile apps, and custom solutions for our clients as well as our own developed Shopify apps from which one that has been featured under "staff picks", "new & noteworthy" and has more than 2000 active store base.
For what projects/services did your company hire Asteroid?
We Hired Asteroid to create a promotional video for one of our Shopify Apps. As we didn't have the necessary design resources, Asteroid was the perfect match for our needs.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal for this project was to explain our tool to the public who are browsing apps, showcase the people behind the app and explain why the service we provide is important.
How did you select Asteroid?
Our team searched for the best agency that would do the requested job with great attention to detail, somebody who could see our product for what it is and how much value it can bring, explain it to audiences in a way that speaks volumes, and somebody who can do the work promptly.
When we browsed Asteroid's portfolio and got to know the people behind the brand, we knew they are the ones we need to hire for this project.
Describe the project in detail.
Once we started the work, there were a couple of meetings about our vision, and a couple of days later we already got the first mockups and ideas which were spot on with what we had in mind.
Then Asteroid's team organized a video shoot and found the right voice actor for the project and the whole process was very smooth and without any hiccups.
What was the team composition?
The team consisted of 3 people:
- One great Project Manager - created the scenario and the whole process, communicated with us, and coordinated the filming and post-production work.
- Graphic Designer - who created the style of the whole video, created animations, and edited the video;
- Graphic Designer - created 3D elements for the video.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After the video project was launched, we have gradually moved to the first position within our app's category on the Shopify App Store. The video is a great addition to our tool's listing as it explains what we do, makes people trust and select our tool over competitor's apps.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The communication was flawless, we constantly received feedback and were in touch with the team. While working with Asteroid, we felt heard and understood. They never hesitated to reach out and controlled the whole project process perfectly.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The expertise to deliver great quality work in such a short term and the ability to understand our needs to such a deep level. We only had two relatively short meetings before the whole work began and they understood what are we asking for and delivered it.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Of course, there is always room for improvement, but nothing with this project. Thank you Asteroid!
After relaunching their product with a brand new identity, the company saw a 70% increase in social media followers over the course of a year. The team was highly-communicative and adaptive, even switching communication servers for the client's convenience. The team delivered the project on time.
