Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the founder of an online sock platform. We sell everything from socks with funky prints to formal ones.

For what projects/services did your company hire astech solutions?

We needed a clean, minimal look for our e-commerce storefront and it had to be mobile responsive as well. The website would be our main mode of sales, as we’re not getting into brick and mortar, so nailing the UI/UX on the first go was crucial. We'll start fine-tuning it once we go live and gather feedback.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

astech built our entire e-commerce platform from the ground up using a WordPress theme of our choosing. They guided me throughout the entire process, explaining everything along the way. I learned quite a bit.

They were very transparent with their day-to-day tasks, which made everything much easier. I literally just dumped the entire project on them after explaining exactly what I was looking for. They understood the brief completely and delivered.

What was the team composition?

They provided a customer service rep and two frontend developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We've received a lot of positive feedback from customers and friends since launching the site. They met all our goals and expectations, so we're extremely happy. We had a pressing schedule and needed quick turnarounds, and astech delivered on time. They handled everything with efficiency and a good attitude.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

There was a full-time project manager assigned to us who used Trello for handling the work. We mainly used WhatsApp for communication, where we had contact with the developers as well. They replied to emails and messages promptly and have a great customer service team.

It was a quite seamless operation, which allowed me to focus on other aspects of the business while development took place.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The delivered the project from start to finish in about two weeks. While any website is never really done, I was happy to get to things started. astech promptly answered my questions on integrating different logistic partners, and would regularly tweak the sale workflow per my request.
