Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of an authentic Mexican restaurant and grocery store.
What challenge were you trying to address with Ascend Digital Media?
We hired them to create a website for us. We wanted it to be easy to navigate and update for our internal team.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They built our website from scratch. To start, I gave them the details about what we’re looking for and they took it from there. They handled the design and we provided them with professional photographs we had taken last year.

I worked directly with Jon (Founder & Developer, Ascend Digital Media).
How did you come to work with Ascend Digital Media?
Jon had been a customer of ours for many years, so we decided to hire him when he asked to build our site.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $100 for the down-payment and we’ll begin with payments in January.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in October 2019 and Jon still manages the site.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our site, especially compared to our competitors, is very well done and easy to navigate. Our customers have given us great feedback on the site. The pictures received compliments and the hours of our restaurant are easy to find online now.
How did Ascend Digital Media perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve done everything on time. Whatever Jon says he’ll get done, he does. Typically he’s waiting on my end instead of the other way around. If I need to call or email them, I always can.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their work is great—our site is crisp, clean, and easy to navigate because of them. Working with Jon has been so simple, too.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s nothing I can think of for them to improve.
