I’m the president of SMP Global Stone. We’re an importer and wholesaler of natural stone, granite, and artificial quartz.

I brought Ariya InfoTech on for web development services.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Ariya InfoTech developed my website. I looked at competitors’ sites and came up with some ideas myself. Ariya InfoTech then guided me through the process. One of the initial considerations was making the site mobile responsive.
Since the platform's launch, they’ve been in charge of its maintenance, updates, and uploading new content. If I have a new item I want to develop, they’re the only ones I go to.
This was the second project they did for me. The first time I worked with them was for my real estate company.
What is the team composition?
I’ve been in contact with only two people from their side, including Ankur (E-Commerce Development Specialist).
How did you come to work with ARIYA INFOTECH?
I met Ankur personally about three-and-a-half years ago. I was in India and a cousin of mine happened to be friends with Ankur. At this same time, I was developing my first website and had a couple of concepts I wanted to work on. However, I didn’t like the prices I was getting in the US.
How much have you invested with them?
The latest project cost $3,000. The prior website I built with them was simpler, with only a few pages. They charged me $1,250 for that one, they haven’t been killing me on the cost.
What is the status of this engagement?
Ariya InfoTech developed my real estate website around November 2016 and developed the second website less than a year ago.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’m definitely getting more clients but don’t know if it’s directly attributable to the website since we’re wholesalers. The growth could be related to the site; it has obviously had a positive impact. I get good feedback about it and calls from clients who’ve seen particular pieces on the site. Overall, I’m very pleased with Ariya InfoTech’s work.
How did ARIYA INFOTECH perform from a project management standpoint?
They get my go-ahead before implementing anything. In the past, I've had issues with not getting what I wanted and developers wanting more money. Ariya InfoTech makes everything clear and they show me examples. If something’s not clear, they ask me first.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They seem to care about the client and make suggestions based on our feedback. I’ve worked with other providers in India and they just wanted to charge me by the hour and saw me as a dollar sign. Ariya InfoTech never told me they were too busy when I had an issue.
What's more, their prices are way cheaper than the quotes I was getting locally. I’ve been very satisfied with them for every request I’ve made.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There is a bit of a language barrier, but I wouldn’t count it as a negative. It’s just the nature of the work.

There’s nothing in particular. I’ve recommended them to a couple of people.

Are there any areas they could improve?
There were some small issues when it came to internal communication between their team lead and their developers. These were specific cases when the team lead wasn't available due to illness and personal circumstances. In those cases, the developers would have to ask me the same question 2–3 times—but this was okay given the situation.
