Thermomix system
The Thermomix is a smart and internet-connected multi-purpose kitchen appliance which replaces over 20 appliances in one sleek, compact unit that packs enormous power, versatility and innovation. The functions can be accessed simultaneously to carry out chopping, beating, blending, whipping, weighing, milling, kneading, mincing and more at the touch of a button.
The business model of Thermomix is direct selling through its network of independent advisors. Hundreds of thousands of advisors all across the world are selling Thermomix® products. Between Singapore and Malaysia, there are currently over 1000 advisors selling Thermomix products.
Initially, TFOC and True Mix manage their network of advisors by grouping them into a team that is led by a Team Manager. Team Managers are then reporting to their Branch Manager. To facilitate the organization of the team structure and ensure each advisor is trained and meets his/her KPI, a system called MIS is used. Sales order processing and after-sales service are supported by a system called WinNET.

Balance
In Vietnam, the relationship between farmers and enterprises in the consumption of agricultural products is not highly cohesive. The reality of production in the Mekong Delta shows that there is often a situation of "mutual distrust" between enterprises and farmers. Farmers often only sell agricultural products through traders but rarely work directly with agribusinesses for fear of betrayal. This leads to the situation of increasing private traders who often force prices of agricultural products.
Understanding this situation, ARI Technology has researched and developed a completely new intermediary system to improve the efficiency of agricultural product consumption for farmers and provide agricultural products at reasonable prices for enterprises or end consumers.
The system, called Balance, is built as an intermediary between the cost of purchasing from farmers and the price sold to enterprises, stores or direct consumers. Balance will directly search and buy fresh agricultural products from farmers (agricultural suppliers) at competitive prices, creating conditions for farmers to have a better income; then, those agricultural products will be sold from the system at the listed price which not too much different from the purchase cost that ensure the supply of output products can meet the standards of both quality and price.

Uhouse
Uhouse can be considered as one of the most potential products developed by ARI. The software is designed with the goal of providing building owners in Ho Chi Minh City with a platform to manage independent buildings or chains of rental apartments. The software ensures full integration of the necessary features that homeowners need in building operation management. In addition, the software also links with an e-commerce site specializing in connecting brokers, tenants, repair services and utilities to improve user experience.
The relevant objects that need to be targeted in the system include System Administrator, Building Owner, Employees working in the building, Tenants, and Brokers and customers.

REECOTECH offers some digital solutions, including:

Collected data are managed and processed using analytics tools and AI (Data Transformation Neural Network) and then sent to stakeholders alongside others services such as wanings, weather and climate forecasts.

For what projects/services did your company hire ARI Technology, and what were your goals?
We work with customers to build a system for collecting and managing environmental data. We hired the company ARI to consult technology for us and implement the project according to our requirements. Our goal is to collect accurate data from hardware and sensors in real time, classify and store it as big data.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found the company through a technology conference on AI and BigData. We considered them and 2 other vendors. We need to find a partner for technology consulting and good customer support.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Design and developed a big data collection system that incorporates AI analysis to make data predictions. We started with meetings to discuss our technology solutions and business models. Then they suggested the workflow and design mock-ups, they really convinced us to go for the partnership. The technologies they use are: AI, Bigdata, Kafka, Socket.
They work quite professionally, releasing products continuously in each sprint (2 weeks) allowing us to test and give continuous feedback on the product. Currently we are finalizing versions and putting them to use by our end customers and are constantly releasing software updates.

They have 8 people in the core team, including project manager, designer, business analyst, team leader, 3 programmers, testers. They responded continuously to us and cooperated well throughout the duration of the project.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We delivered the product on time with the set goals. During the operation, our customers are relatively satisfied with the product. Product defects are quickly rectified by the development team and responded positively. The team's working efficiency is good and we are negotiating to cooperate on the next projects.

What makes us most satisfied is the way the project is managed. They meet target deadlines, we communicate and respond to each other constantly. We communicate via Skype, Jira and Github.

We work directly with the whole team, solutions are actively presented for us to discuss.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The quality of the project is very good, they can further improve the handover at the end of each stage, the work and collecting feedback can be done earlier. I worked with the team and they will make it happen.

We are looking for outsourcing partner in Vietnam who can provide good service at reasonable cost.

ARI has proved strong capabilities from their past projects, from web to mobile app. Cost of service is competitive. In addition, fast response and professional attitude are also good points.

We follow step by step:
- Business Analyst share new customer's requirements.
- Dev Leader confirms feasibility and provide scope of work.
- PM perform sprint planning and assign tasks to each developer.
- Developer process tasks and update status everyday.
- Tester builds test case and arrange testing accordingly.
- BA test feature and arrange UAT with customer.
- Developer progresses improvements per customer's feedbacks.

During pandemic, sales from E-commerce platform grew rapidly. Our customer in Singapore achieved highest growth award in 2021. Other competitors can't catch up our sales due to lockdown. In 2022, sales growth is slower but growth rate 30% is very promising.

Everyday, we run a quick kick-off meeting to share upcoming scope and get update on current sprint.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
ARI has a strong team of flexible developers who have impressive technical skills.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Sometimes, we have deviation in scope estimation, this may lead to late deliveries of the feature. This issue has been controlled better since dev leader reviewed developer's estimation once again.
The vendor completed the project on time and accomplished all their set goals. The client's customers are satisfied with the product overall. The vendor met target deadlines, and both parties communicated and responded to each other constantly throughout their collaboration.
