I’m a web manager for a leading professional services firm in Ireland.


For what projects/services did your company hire Arekibo?

We needed to set up a dedicated portal for clients in the aviation finance and leasing industry. We hired Arekibo to explore this proposition, gather requirements, and present various development options with indicative pricing for each.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to improve our services and dispense expert advice faster.

We've worked in various capacities with Arekibo before and value their contribution over the years.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Arekibo has helped us create a functional specification document for the proposed portal. They facilitated numerous workshops and informal discussions about our system’s architecture and functionality, which helped us determine which elements were essential. We will soon move to the build phase of the project.

What was the team composition?

Arekibo’s team worked with several people from our company, including the head of IT, a director, a manager, and a project manager. Our technology committee and financial services staff contributed insights based on their long-term client roles.


Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Arekibo has helped us move from having a nebulous idea to concrete next steps for our client portal. It’s too early to get into any discussion of metrics or analytics, as we’re still at the proposal stage. However, we are hopeful of a positive conclusion—the actual development of a portal.

Arekibo excels at taking initial ideas and running them through a structured concept-development and elaboration phase. They're skilled at managing the exploratory phase of a project, asking open-ended questions, and getting the client to focus on what their customers want from a proposed online development. They’re unafraid to ask the hard questions in discussions and workshops.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Paul (Client Relationship Manager, Arekibo) handles project management quietly and effectively. They’ve provided us with PowerPoint presentations and Excel sheets, the latter for analyzing the project elements in depth.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Arekibo is good at strategizing and concept development. They are excellent communicators and facilitators.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I can't give any as we still have to finalize the development.
